Heading south in Jersey on the 295, you will need your GPS to guide you to this location. I will never get used to the New Jersey turnarounds for turns... its awful unless you know the territory. This Hampton Inn is really nice though. Dunkin Donuts right out my window...mmmm... The office chair in my room was broken so I headed down to speak with the manager. Georgette was awesome. Gave me a beautiful replacement from the business center. So the service was fantastic. Very spacious breakfast area with lots of seating.
When seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" in the vibrant South Jersey corridor, specifically around Mount Laurel and Moorestown, the Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Laurel/Moorestown often comes up as a solid choice. Located at 2020 Briggs Rd, Mt Laurel Township, NJ 08054, USA, this Hilton-branded hotel aims to provide a consistent and comfortable experience for a diverse range of travelers, from those on business trips to families exploring the local attractions. Hampton Inn is known for its commitment to guest satisfaction, often highlighted by its "100% Hampton Guarantee."
The Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Laurel/Moorestown is strategically positioned off I-295, a major highway in South Jersey. This location is particularly advantageous for guests traveling by car, offering easy access to Philadelphia (approximately 30 minutes away) and other surrounding areas in New Jersey. While its address on Briggs Road might require GPS navigation, especially for those unfamiliar with New Jersey's unique road system and "turnarounds," its proximity to major routes ensures good connectivity. The hotel is situated near corporate centers like Bishop's Gate Corporate Center and Laurel Corporate Park, making it convenient for business travelers. For leisure, it's less than a mile from The Funplex amusement and water park, about a mile from Topgolf Mount Laurel, and within a reasonable drive to other family attractions like Six Flags Great Adventure, Sesame Place, the Garden State Discovery Museum, and Adventure Aquarium. Additionally, local dining options and retail centers are typically within a short driving distance, providing convenience for guests' needs. The immediate environment is generally a suburban commercial area, providing a functional rather than scenic backdrop, but prioritizing accessibility.
As a Hampton Inn & Suites property, this hotel offers a comprehensive range of complimentary services and amenities that are significant value-adds for guests. A cornerstone of the Hampton Inn brand is the complimentary hot breakfast, which typically includes a variety of options such as waffles, eggs, bacon, cereal, and fresh fruit. This saves guests time and money, making it particularly appealing for families and budget-conscious travelers. However, it's important to acknowledge that customer experiences with breakfast can vary, as one review pointed out a significant shortfall: "The breakfast was a complete letdown—they were out of vanilla waffle batter, strawberry waffle batter, coffee/tea cups, scrambled eggs & boiled eggs. How does a hotel run out of nearly everything in their breakfast selection?" This feedback suggests potential inconsistencies in the breakfast service and stocking levels, which could be a disappointment if not addressed.
Beyond breakfast, guests benefit from complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel, a crucial amenity for both business and leisure travelers needing to stay connected. For fitness, the hotel provides a well-equipped fitness center, open 24/7, allowing guests to maintain their workout routines. While some listings mention an indoor pool, it is important to verify its current operational status, as some reviews (from other Hampton Inn locations) have indicated temporary closures. The hotel also offers a 24-hour business center with computers and printing facilities, and flexible meeting spaces totaling over 3,000 sq. ft., suitable for corporate gatherings or social events. Other conveniences include free self-parking, a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and laundry facilities (often self-service coin-operated). For those who are short on time, Hampton's On the Run™ Breakfast Bags are often available Monday-Friday. The hotel also usually offers complimentary coffee and tea service in the lobby throughout the day. Pet-friendly rooms are typically available for an additional fee, with specific policies regarding pet size and number, making it an option for those traveling with furry companions (confirm directly for current policies, as some sources indicate pets are not allowed, while others state they are with a fee).
The Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Laurel/Moorestown features 101 guest rooms and suites, each designed for comfort and functionality. Standard amenities in most rooms include a clean and fresh Hampton bed, a 42-inch HDTV with premium channels and streaming entertainment options, a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Rooms also typically include a desk with an ergonomic chair, ironing facilities, and a hair dryer. For those needing more space or traveling with families, the hotel offers studio suites which often include a separate living area and a sofa bed, providing additional sleeping arrangements. Accessible rooms with features catering to guests with mobility and hearing needs are also available. Positive feedback often highlights the comfort of the beds and the cleanliness of the rooms. However, as noted in a review, "The office chair in my room was broken so I headed down to speak with the manager. Georgette was awesome. Gave me a beautiful replacement from the business center. So the service was fantastic." While this indicates a quick and positive resolution to a specific issue, it also suggests that minor maintenance issues can occur. Another concerning aspect from a review was the discovery of a "rotten orange among the fruit" and overflowing trash cans in the dining area, which raises "serious concerns about food quality and hygiene" and "poor upkeep" in public areas. Additionally, the reported unavailability of bottled water, a basic essential, is a significant service lapse.
For individuals and families searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Mount Laurel/Moorestown area, the Hampton Inn & Suites aims to provide a value-driven experience. The complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi are key components of this value proposition, contributing to overall savings for guests. Being a Hilton Honors property, guests can also accrue points for their stays and potentially benefit from member-exclusive rates and perks. The hotel often features promotions through its official website and various online travel agencies, including discounts for AAA/CAA members or special packages for longer stays. The presence of amenities like the fitness center and access to local attractions further enhances its appeal.
While the hotel generally strives for a high standard, it is important for potential guests to consider the varied customer feedback. While some guests have had excellent experiences, highlighting friendly staff and spacious, clean rooms, others have reported significant issues with basic services and maintenance, particularly regarding breakfast quality, general cleanliness, and the availability of essential items like bottled water. This suggests that while the hotel has many strengths, there might be inconsistencies in service delivery or upkeep that could impact individual guest satisfaction. Prospective guests might consider verifying specific concerns with the hotel directly or reading more recent reviews to gauge the current state of operations. Ultimately, Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Laurel/Moorestown strives to be a convenient and comfortable base for exploring the South Jersey area, offering the core amenities that Hampton Inn guests have come to expect, though occasional operational issues might arise.

Mar 20, 2025 · Gabriel KrekkI recently stayed at Hampton Inn in New Jersey, and my experience was far from what I expected. The breakfast was a complete letdown—they were out of vanilla waffle batter, strawberry waffle batter, coffee/tea cups, scrambled eggs & boiled eggs. How does a hotel run out of nearly everything in their breakfast selection? To make things worse, I found a rotten orange among the fruit (photo attached), which raises serious concerns about food quality and hygiene. Additionally, the trash cans were overflowing, making the dining area look dirty and unkempt. It was clear that maintenance was not a priority. And if that wasn’t bad enough, they were out of bottled WATER. They usually provide water at check-in and have more available for purchase, but they had none. A hotel running out of WATER is simply unacceptable. For a hotel that claims to offer convenience, comfort, and a clean environment, this stay was anything but. The lack of basic essentials and poor upkeep were completely unacceptable. I won’t be returning, and I strongly urge management to take these issues seriously before more guests experience the same disappointment.
Mar 02, 2025 · Anna BárbaraGreat place for a hotel, only sad thing is that they are removing the pool and changing it into a conference room, really spacious rooms too! View is usually great, although some rooms could have better views. 🙂
May 11, 2025 · Emin MulalicThis hotel has gone down hill significant over the past few years when I have stayed there. The rooms always need some type of significant maintenance (blinds missing rods, bathroom doors that do not close, etc....) However, the strangest thing is the customer service. They new require a drivers license scan to check you in, make you sign a Code of Conduct, and frequently leave your room unlocked "when they know you are arriving, for your convenience" (so they say). The front desk staff has become less than courteous and despite signs saying their breakfast can accommodate food issues, they have no way to do that. If the location was not so good, I would not return to this hotel. Given the location, it is now a tough choice for me to stay here. Two years ago, staying here was a "no-brainer" easy decision.
Mar 22, 2025 · POTC MagicMy parents booked this hotel by mistake. Fortunately, they were pleasantly surprised. They typically stay elsewhere everytime they visit. Their normal hotel was booked, and they mistakenly booked this one rather than their backup spot. They said the stay was pleasant, rooms were clean, quiet and would stay again.
