WARNING - the timeshare presentation advertised $150-$200 for a 3 night stay is very misleading. You are not guaranteed to stay at an IHG hotel. You may be booked elsewhere, such as an inn or motel (50% or LESS of the value you thought). Be mindful when they send the confirmation email if you’re already signed up. If the address is not the Express, you are not at an IHG property. Extremely sleazy and this has twisted my perspective on IHG. Not exactly a good selling tactic either geniuses, put us up in a completely different run down hotel to sell us a $50,000 vacation contract. I do not think IHG or IHG Club Vacations are ethical companies. What kind of hotel advertises a discounted 3 night stay at ANOTHER hotel?!?! Hilton has proven to be the better buy every time. At least they’d put me up in their own hotels or similar quality, not a motel.

For those looking to make the most of their visit to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Smoky Mountain Resort, it's always a good idea to check for current promotions and special offers. As an IHG Hotel, the resort frequently provides various deals that can enhance your stay. These often include specific "4-Day/3-Night Getaway" packages that may offer discounted rates. It's important to note that some deeply discounted packages might be associated with an invitation to attend a timeshare sales presentation. While these presentations are part of how the resort offers such deals, guests are advised to read the terms and conditions carefully regarding these offers, as some past reviews have highlighted issues related to the booking fulfillment and the quality of partner hotels for package stays. Beyond these specific packages, you might find standard hotel promotions such as AAA/CAA rates, government/military discounts, or senior discounts. IHG Rewards Club members may also have access to exclusive member-only rates and benefits. The best way for locals in Tennessee to find out about the most current and relevant promotions is to visit the official Holiday Inn Club Vacations website directly or contact the resort via phone. They often have seasonal deals or special packages tailored to different types of vacations, from romantic getaways to family adventures. Jun 03, 2025 · R. M.I'm not sure what department "Silver" works in but I had been trying to cancel a reservation for 3 days. I was blind transferred from IHG call center to her, no one could find my reservation or cancel for me. "Silver" was able to locate it but ran right over me speaking, I asked her why she was able to cancel/locate but none of her colleagues were trained or educated enough to do the same. She proceeded to unload on me and tell me I was rude and hung up the phone. I finally spoke with a manager Misty who was able to provide me verbal and written confirmation of my cancellation after four times being dumped into her voicemail because "silver"refused to take my call. IHG and Holiday Inn Vacations do better, train your employees better, don't make the client do your jobs. Do better. I hope silver gets some serious management training otherwise I don't think challenging customer service is for her.
Jun 13, 2025 · Meghan MYeah, their timeshare people, really know how to run game on you. First time staying, and they give you a really nice 4-star room, then your next in some 2 to 3 star room. Like an upscale hooker suite. Not me, but like in the movies where it's like " it doesn't have roaches and we need a place to stay a few days. This is suitable but not like that first timeshare room and who really thinks to grown full adults besides your grandparents that sleep on a full mattress or want to sleep separate from their loved one
Jun 01, 2025 · Jimmy LaneLocation is ideal, rooms are spacious and nice, pools are pretty decent, but the positives end there... Don't expect comfortable beds, think more of springs in your back and pillows made of egg cartons. Don't expect breakfast in the hotel or for them to provide you with anything necessary to make decent coffee. We had a great view on a very nice balcony and I really looked forward to waking up, sitting on that balcony with a coffee in the morning. No coffee or creamer in the room, went to the front desk, she sold me coffee but had no creamer to sell, said she could send creamer packets up to the room later. I asked why she couldn't just give me the creamer and she said not possible but told me I could walk to a store 2 blocks down. So that's what I did. Freaking store was closed, I'm not happy, just wanted coffee and a view when I woke up. On the way back I stopped in the hotel across the street, they had a coffee bar and Starbucks in the lobby, got a coffee and their front desk gave me a handful of creamer to take back to my hotel room. They were way more pleasant too. I probably should mention that I had to stay in a friend's room because after this vacation was booked and paid for by 2 separate families, they called me to tell me since I used a promotional deal I wasn't allowed to stay there at the same time as my friends. I was allowed to join them in their 2 bedroom accommodation, but I had to give up my separately booked room. The kids got kicked into the living room to live for the trip and two couples had the bedrooms. It wasn't ideal at all. Our room had an attached mother in law suit, basically a second room that was vacant the whole time, but they wouldn't give it to me. Not overly impressed with whoever booked me, the front desk people, or the lack of extras that came with the rooms. Unsure if it was my luck or how often they do this, but also while there they decided to run a fire drill and set off the alarm and kept it going until every room (over 800 rooms) was checked to make sure the alarm and strobe lights were working, so that was awesome too.
Jun 01, 2025 · David Marcuccionly good thing about this hotel is the rooms & location of property. signature rooms are beautiful but everything else SUCKS & doesn’t make any logical sense. if you have signature rooms, get ready for a view of garbage & construction. construction every morning & loud noise every morning before 8-9am. most of the people staying at this resort are on vacation, shouldn’t have to be woken up by loud noises every morning and should be able to RELAX. this is not relaxing. this place/management needs to do better! ya’ll should be ashamed of how much money you charge for these rooms & this is what you give paying customers!
