Apr 25, 2025 · Amanda RodriguezThis is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed at! The office staff are great. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast. This is the second time I've stayed here and I plan on staying here every time I visit the area! We walked over to The Blue Moose for dinner and highly recommended that restaurant. It feels very quiet and safe here.
May 09, 2025 · Jessica GrayI was hoping to give 0 stars but it made me select one star. I booked my reservation on December 19, 2024, for a two night stay (April 25-27, 2025) for a volleyball tournament. On April 25, when I arrived at the hotel after a five hour drive with my kids (including a toddler) with my reservation # and confirmation email to check in, I was told my room was sold to someone else, and they did not have any rooms available. Out of complete shock, I thought he was kidding at first, and then said, what am I supposed to do. The front desk associate immediately called the manager and said, “Remember how I suggested we not cancel those four rooms and sell them to someone else…well one of those reservation holders just arrived and her volleyball team is staying here, and you insisted I sell the room to someone else (who had walked in, looking for a room with no reservation), and now she is here to check in with her small children.” They then proceeded to say that someone called me to tell me they cancelled my room and that the number dialed had been disconnected. I then asked the front desk associate to read me the phone number that was called. He read me my phone number, and I said, yes, this is the correct working number to the phone in my hand and it is working. This was all an attempted cop-out lie to try and get out of this and no one ever called my phone. I then asked why I received a confirmation email this morning stating “For your upcoming Stay…” if they cancelled my room. Due to a Kid Rock / Lynard Skynard concert and major volleyball tournament in town, I called 32 hotels around town, all without a single room available. At the moment, we are “sleeping” in our car. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that he didn’t have her phone number. The hotel proceeded to tell me that they would not be paying for me to get a room somewhere else and said sorry for the inconvenience. I suggest NEVER taking the risk of reserving a room at this or any IHG property or hotel with the M. Gibson Hotel franchise group. They seem to only care about making a quick $$$. I have worked for many years in the hospitality and sports entertainment industry at the national level and have never witnessed or experienced anything like this before. I hope no one ever has to experience this! Oh, and P.S., I am also pregnant!
Apr 26, 2025 · Coach JennRoom is fine. There is mold on the walls and ceiling in the bathroom due to there being no fan. The pool is not heated so it was too cold for my daughter to swim in which was a major reason why we booked this hotel.
Mar 19, 2025 · Nicole HadleyI didn’t stay here but they were kind enough to let East TN Infant swim rescue use their pool for swim lessons. The facility is nice and clean. The staff were always nice when they greeted us at the front. Thank you!
