This place is emaculate. The photos are to show how clean it is and how it looks. I almost did not stay because of the reviews i was reading, and I live 4.5 hours away. I had so much anxiety trying to decide. So, I am updating with whole hearted honesty. Mr. Ron checked us in and was there throughout our stay. We even decided to stay another day. It smells absolutely amazing throughout the whole facility. I really wanted to know what it was so that I could order it for home, lol. I asked everyone, lol. It was very clean. There was always someone cleaning something. The housekeeper he went above and beyond. Although we asked for extra towels only to make it easier on his day. Since we chose to stay again. He went in and recleaned the whole bathroom and vacuumed the floor, and made the beds. The other housekeeper was very nice as well. The mirror has a light around it that is so beautiful, We were in town for my daughter's promotion in the military. The photos are from the room I stayed in. The microwave was clean and the fridge. The photos are merely to show the cleanliness. Most times, only bad reviews have photos. But people out of state need honesty. So here u are.

The property's exterior and interior aim for a straightforward, functional design, typical of a Quality Inn. Recent reviews suggest that the hotel maintains a remarkably clean environment, with one guest describing it as "immaculate" and noting a pleasant aroma throughout the facility. This attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall guest experience, setting it apart from some preconceived notions about budget-friendly hotels.

Services and Amenities

Quality Inn Alcoa Knoxville offers a range of services and amenities designed to provide a comfortable stay. A key benefit for guests is the complimentary full breakfast served daily from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, providing a hot and satisfying start to the day. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi throughout the property, which is essential for both leisure and business travelers. While one older review mentioned slow Wi-Fi speeds, more recent feedback emphasizes the hotel's commitment to upgraded Wi-Fi, suggesting improvements in this area. Free self-parking is available on-site, including RV/bus/lorry parking, adding convenience for guests traveling with larger vehicles.

The hotel has 67 well-appointed, smoke-free rooms across 3 floors. Each room typically includes amenities such as air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable/satellite channels, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker. Ironing boards, irons, and hairdryers are also standard. One guest specifically highlighted a bathroom mirror with a beautiful light around it, indicating attention to modern touches. Connecting rooms are available upon request. For recreation, the hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, providing a refreshing option during warmer months. A 24-hour fitness center is also available, allowing guests to maintain their exercise routines. Business amenities include a 24-hour business center and a meeting room of 200 sq ft, capable of holding up to 30 people for banquets. Additional services comprise a 24-hour front desk, dry cleaning/laundry facilities, vending machines, and free newspapers in the lobby. The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing dogs and most pets with a fee (typically $25 per pet, per night), though service animals are exempt. This makes it a convenient option for travelers with furry companions. The property also emphasizes safety features, including smoke detectors and enhanced cleaning practices in response to public health concerns.

Features and Distinguishing Aspects

A striking feature of the Quality Inn Alcoa Knoxville, as highlighted by recent customer reviews, is its exceptional cleanliness and the dedication of its staff. Despite initial reservations some guests might have based on prior experiences with budget hotels, this property consistently surprises with its immaculate condition. The staff, such as "Mr. Ron" at the front desk and the housekeepers, are frequently praised for being "super friendly and helpful," going "above and beyond" to ensure guest satisfaction, even re-cleaning bathrooms and vacuuming floors during extended stays. The pleasant smell throughout the facility also leaves a strong positive impression on guests. The availability of a complimentary hot breakfast with a good variety of options is a significant value-add. While it may not offer all the luxurious bells and whistles of higher-tier hotels, its focus on fundamental comforts – cleanliness, friendly service, comfortable beds, and essential amenities – makes it a strong contender in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category for value-conscious travelers. The fact that it is a pet-friendly establishment further broadens its appeal. Its convenient location near the airport and key local destinations also makes it a practical choice for various travel purposes.

Promotional Information and Guest Experience

The Quality Inn Alcoa Knoxville is promoted as a straightforward yet reliable choice for travelers seeking affordability without compromising on cleanliness and service. While specific promotional offers vary, typical rates are quite competitive, often ranging from around $75 to $106 per night, depending on the room type and booking time. The hotel's official website and other booking platforms emphasize its free hot breakfast, free Wi-Fi, and its convenient location near the airport and local attractions. Guest reviews are generally very positive, with many expressing pleasant surprise at the hotel's quality. The overwhelming sentiment revolves around the cleanliness of the rooms and the helpfulness of the staff. Many guests, like the one who initially felt anxiety due to other reviews, found their actual experience to be far superior, praising the staff's dedication and the well-maintained property. The detailed account of the housekeeper's extra efforts, such as re-cleaning the bathroom and vacuuming, paints a clear picture of the hotel's commitment to cleanliness and service. However, it's also important to acknowledge a contrasting review which reported issues with cleanliness (dried blood on a towel, blood splattered on a wall, makeup in coffee basket) and a disappointing resolution from management regarding a refund. This indicates that while the hotel generally aims for high standards, occasional lapses can occur, and guest experiences regarding issue resolution may vary. Overall, for travelers prioritizing cleanliness, friendly staff, and a complimentary breakfast at a reasonable price, the Quality Inn Alcoa Knoxville is often seen as a commendable choice within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, representing good value for money despite isolated negative experiences.

We arrived late on 3/21 & were gone all day on 3/22. We got back to the hotel after 8pm & finally spent time in the room. There was dried blood on a folded clean towel, blood splattered on the wall in the bathroom, and old crusty foundation makeup in the coffee basket. After finding these 3 things, we weren’t comfortable staying the night. We were told the manager would be in touch to make things right. I didn’t expect to get a full refund, but I at least expected to get money back from 2nd night because we did not stay. Ashley Irvin (the manager) told me that she could give me $60 because I did not tell anybody until late. This is the hotel my in-laws stay at every time they visit Tennessee, but I will NEVER be staying here again & I don’t recommend anyone else to either.

Apparently cats are not pets. I'd love an explanation as to why a dog is allowed but not a cat. My cat in its carrier is infinitely less destructive than a dog running around.... and regardless, you've got my credit card. Charge me for the damages. Even if this asinine policy is ever changed, I'd never stay here. It was a ridiculous hassle that I had to go through all just to be turned away.

Where do I start? The elevator has an annoying loud ringing every time it opens that is enough to drive you crazy. The breakfast is mid af. They run out of towels which leads to the staff harassing you for any dirty towels. (It's odd) They don't have bedbugs but that's probably the last nice thing I can say other than the room was cheap. Maybe if they charged more they could afford pillows and rollout beds for extra guests. Overall the place feels like it's for people on a budget by people on a budget. Pay the extra money and stay at the airport, their pool is indoor and really fun for the kids. I love the local at this quality inn only because I'm 10 min from my brother's house in Maryville.

The staff were so nice that I am sad making this review- but this is not a place that I would recommend staying at. Pros: The staff are really nice and all were very kind and personable. The location is nice- it's in the cut with a nice pond and walking trail behind the hotel.  It's close enough to restaurants but far enough away from the ridiculous and dangerous highway near the airport. Cons: My room was nasty dirty.  I was greeted by an old stuck-on piece of popcorn on my blanket.  Most of the room is carpet apart from the front area near the sink and the bathroom.  I always clean my rooms when I get into hotel rooms and the rag was black after cleaning the floor.  There was no way to clean the carpet and our socks were so dirty every day that most of them were stained and thrown out when we got home.  I had to use about 15 clorox wipes on the toilet to get it clean- very obvious places were soiled.  There was something on the shower curtain that was wiped on there.  My 4-year-old asked why someone wiped spaghetti on the shower curtain.  Needless to say, we did not use the shower curtain and showered with it open. There was hair on the sheets, the phone was clearly not cleaned and the inside of the refrigerator was caked with something. Breakfast was very basic.  During the week was the normal pastries, waffles, eggs, meat and gravy.  Biscuits were only made on the weekends, I'm not sure what to put gravy on during the week.  There were expired yogurts in the refrigerator- some expired by days and some by weeks.  I told 2 staff at the desk as soon as I saw them, they said they were going to get them out.  The next day they were there again and I told another staff that did nothing about it. The Wi-Fi was so poor.  I was on the 2nd floor and couldn't work on my laptop without using my hotspot for stability. There is an odd huge gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.  A child could stick their hand under the door.  What if someone sticks a camera under the door to look around?  In addition to safety, this also makes noise in the hallway sound like it's in the room with you.
