The room was nice and clean. My only complaint is with the flat, uncomfortable pillows. The hotel is conveniently located by the airport, but without the noise of being by an airport. As for service, I would give a 1 star, but one of the ladies at breakfast was nice and did speak, and one of the housekeepers spoke; but that was it. No greeting by the front desk staff when we arrived or this morning when we went for breakfast. The first impression is that of the front desk, and when they fail to make you feel welcome, one must question why one would want to return or recommend it to others.

Apr 13, 2025 · Julie MerrellThis is just THE BEST location. It is super close to the airport and a grocery store. The atmosphere was safe & quiet. The staff is phenomenal— it felt like family. The breakfast was soooo good. It was similar to Hampton, with the homemade waffles, breads, muffins, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, fruits, juices, coffees and teas, but they rotated the menu. I loved looking out the window and seeing the Smokey Mountains.
Mar 05, 2025 · Mrs. Manners143It was a pretty mid experience in my estimation. The room itself wasn't bad. Everything was fairly comfortable, and the kitchenette was only missing a pot to boil water (they have induction cook tops available). But everything else left me a bit dissatisfied. The soundproofing is awful, especially from the hallway and the windows. You can hear everyone coming and going in the hallway, and they can hear everything going on in your room. The windows make so much noise, I thought that someone was scraping on the outside wall when my neighbor opened their sun shade. While you are staying, they do not clean the floors at all, I have the hotels footprints in my bathroom to prove it. They DO clean the dishes and swap towels every other day if you do not have a D.N.D. sign up. Oh, and the microwave sounds like you are living out on the airport tarmac. The gym is pretty nice, and the location is pretty central with things to do in every direction, with quite a few interesting spots within an hour drive tops.
Feb 22, 2025 · Robert TuckerHands down one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I flew in to stay in the Maryville area for a week and a half and ended up in a less than stellar hotel. The hotel was so bad that I had to quickly look for another one and cancel that reservation. The second I walked into this Home2 Suites, I was greeted by a very friendly and accommodating lady at the front desk Who let me know right away that they have room and gave me a tour of the whole place. She also got me a great rate as a honors member. The experience of the hotel can really make or break a vacation. Hotel is new and very clean, smells great, has a great floor plan for the suite and I cannot rave about how great this stay has been. Upbeat atmosphere with fire pits in the front and back, a really nice gym, and welcoming front entrance area. This should actually be a 3.5 star hotel. They didn't skimp on anything and really know their stuff when it comes to the customer experience. I've decided that I want to try to look for Home2 suites wherever I visit with an almost 4 star experience at a great price. Highly recommend, I do not regret changing to this hotel at all I only wish I had done it sooner.
Dec 03, 2024 · victoriousinhim x10Had a nice quick weekend getaway to the Smokey Mountains. Ended up staying Fri and Sat at Home 2 Suites in Alcoa just south of Knoxville. It was about 30-60 mins drive to the park areas yet we were out of the traffic congested areas. It was a quiet area with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were all very nice, free breakfast was decent enough for us, plus full size refrig and kitchenette makes the quick trip even more affordable, heating up left overs and bringing our own drinks and snacks. We love Home2Suites for that. Rooms were clean and comfortable. And everyone very friendly and nice.
