This hotel gives Hilton a bad name. -I would have left and went to another hotel but I had a meeting by early in the morning and could not afford to waste time. Even though I wish I did because I got terrible sleep. -The king mattress had someone force a queen size mattress pad and queen size fitted sheet (with holes by the way) and therefore they didn’t stay on and kept flying off. I called the front desk to get the appropriate size mattress pad and sheets and all house keeping did was bring up two flat sheets and said they didn’t have a mattress pad or fitted sheet for our size bed ever. That is very poor taste. Didn’t even help us replace the sheets to remake the bed. -Absolutely disgusting cleanliness. Layers of dust on the carpet, terrible conditions of furniture, wall paper peeling, ceiling bubbling from water damage, tub painted to cover up impurities, -Instead of sets of four for the dishes and glasses, there was randomly 3 of one or only 1 of another -The closet door was hanging off the wall and broken and provided an opportunity for injury -The carpet was ripped up from people trying to open the broken closet -Bobby pins on the floor from previous guests -Front desk was so slow. They had no sense of urgency. My phone key to the room wouldn’t work so I had to wait ten minutes to get a real key. Even when we were up on our floor trying to use the the key on our app, two hilton team members walked by and not once asked if we needed any help. -Hot water dispenser in lobby has regular temp water. Beverage station was a mess in general. -We walked onto the floor with breakfast and a staff member asked us to pick a seat anywhere and brought us menus where we would have to pay for food. But we get complimentary breakfast with our stay. She never asked which hotel we were staying at. There were absolutely no signs for the complimentary breakfast room. Even the door to the room itself said nothing about this is where the complimentary breakfast is. -Table extremely sticky for breakfast -House keeping knocked on our door at 10am asking if we’re checking out today (as if trying to rush us but checkout wasn’t until 11) -Tried chatting on the chat and no one answered after over an hour in which it said I was connected to live chat for a fact. -Gym hours not friendly I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. I called the customer service line (which took 15 minutes to connect to anyone) and they only provided partial refund of my points. Very disappointing.

Jun 17, 2025 · Brittany KowalskiFront desk is not terribly friendly, borderline rude at times. There are apparently two distinct lines for check in. Didn’t realize the agent 1 foot away from the other agent was only for the Hilton Garden Inn, and not Homewood. Had to start my wait all over again after being in the “wrong” line. The room smelled of smoke, though apparently a non smoking room. The furniture is dated and dingy. The appliances were very old. The guest guide is incorrect in advertising the ability to access Netflix and other streaming apps. I called the front desk and they confirmed that was not accurate- no streaming ability in these supposedly updated and renovated rooms. At another point in my stay I asked about a wine opener. Front desk did not have one and did not offer to find one. Seems pretty basic, especially when the Garden Inn next door has a restaurant and there’s happy hour for guests on Wednesdays. Ended up at the theater and the nice lady at the bar opened my wine. Unclear information about pool access. Breakfast was nice and staff there were very friendly. I would not stay here again. It’s not that much cheaper than other stays in the area which would have nicer accommodations.
May 14, 2025 · Ashley JAt first I was regretting booking this after reading the bad reviews . But the experience turned out great ! The room does seem a bit outdated but everything was in good shape . I did not feel it was as spotless clean as some newer hotel but also not dirty at all. The breakfast was great !! Honestly the best I have had in hotel with similar price in US . Chia seeds pudding was delicious. All staff were friendly and helpful. 100% recommend and will stay there next time if I ever visit Baltimore again
Apr 25, 2025 · Yee ZhouStayed in a 1BR Harborview Suite. Google reviews are pretty accurate. Rooms, staff, and facilities are subpar in relation to other Homewoods and don’t meet Hilton expectations. Hotel and rooms are run down and not well maintained. Needs a renovation. Front desk staff were not overly friendly or helpful. That said the location is great and the price was right. Also, breakfast far exceeded expectations and was very good…better than most Homewood breakfasts. Overall a decent value considering the location.
Mar 22, 2025 · Paul CooperThis hotel is so dated. My room had rug with stains and tears in it. The floor was sticky I think it’s from what ever they mop. It was clean but badly dated. Furniture old and worn. I wouldn’t even sit on the couch. The staff are amazing 🤩 and breakfast was delicious. I have never stayed at Hilton and would write something bad.
