Update as of 06/03- Micah, the assistant general manager was very helpful. Each issue was discussed and is actively being addressed. I hope to stay again some day so I can update my review. Absolutely disappointed in my stay at Hyatt Place. This is a hotel I’ve stayed at in the past. The problems I had then persist and new ones have been added. Our room had vomit stains on the floor and smelled like vomit in the bathroom. The rooms A/C did not work during our past stay and did not work during this stay. The wheelchair accessibility of the room is mediocre. The path to the toilet area is narrower than expected. The towels are stored much higher than reachable for wheelchair users. Additionally the towel hooks are also higher. The final frustration was the hotel allowing guests to turn on music so loud we could feel the bass vibrating our room despite it being several floors away. I contacted management but they did not respond. The music went on for hours and was very frustrating. Also our conditioner bottle was full of body wash. It took 2 calls to the front desk for them to finally bring up conditioner. The lowered bed is helpful for transfers.

Jun 04, 2025 · Nicholas TorresWe traveled to watch our son play lacrosse and my Husband became ill, what was supposed to be a 3 day trip, turned into a week. The staff were so friendly, they had to extend our stay two times and never raised a fuss. Devin and Charlotte at the front desk were by far above and beyond in their help and direction on any questions I had, I’m a small town girl in a big city, with a bit of culture shock to be honest. But they were wonderful!! On that note, Charles is the bast valet you could ever have!! Such a down to Earth welcoming man, it was good to see him and his energy is so inviting, it was a pleasure to meet him. Steven was another valet that I met, and while quiet, he keeps a sharp eye. He greeted me every morning with a smile on his face and a wave, that personal interaction meant a lot when I was really lost. I had to walk to the convenience store and told Steven to call if I wasn’t back in 10 minutes, to my surprise, he was standing in the parking garage and immediately acknowledged that I was back. Are there things about the rooms they could change? Yep. The location is a bit shady, and not for everyone, but it’s nice to be centrally located if you’re out and about. I appreciated the people I met, while I was homesick and my Husband was ill, it was nice to meet such gracious people. I thank them all very much
Mar 22, 2025 · Michelle HerdtGreat service, location feels safe, rooms were clean and the valet guy was so friendly! We rented a Tesla and he accommodated us (since we didnt know a physical key) properly. Theres a cute coffee & breakfast cafe right across the street so it was nice to try that. The continental breakfast at the hotel was great as well! Lots of nice shops within 2-3 blocks.
Apr 07, 2025 · Gracee DrakeThe only thing good about this hotel is the location. The rooms are alright. I checked in and my room was 80 degrees, I tried to turn the AC on and nothing indicated that AC kicked on (no fan noise, no air coming out of the vents nothing). Maintenance came and the guy was nice and tried to help but he disclosed that this hotel has FREQUENT problems with their AC. Just be aware when booking. Others have disclosed issues with the rooms in reviews, I wish I would’ve paid attention. I think in situations like this (where the phone and AC in the room aren’t working), front desk service can at least be good and attitude free, but unfortunately it wasn't. Shoutout to the maintenance guy though for trying his best. UPDATE: Day 2, AC is out again. Fridge is not working and has not worked all stay. All I get from the front desk is “im sorry”
Jun 07, 2025 · Nia CrumpIf you like a less than lukewarm shower, book this hotel. The cushions on the couch were stained (both sides) and while they can’t really control other guests, people constantly going in and out letting their doors slam until 1 am was lots of fun. It was disappointing that there was no water/tea available in the lobby outside of breakfast. The only upside is the location which is very central to inner harbor attractions with a short walk and being a block off Little Italy for good food. The staff were nice as well.
