The staff was awesome. Everyone was very polite and professional. Rooms are clean and the whole place is maintained well. Just a little dated. But for the price I have to say the service and staff were 5 star. The location did not have enough eateries nearby only McDonald's or Chinese. Dunkin donuts in a gas station across the street. Continental breakfast was fine. Eggs breakfast sausage oatmeal yogurt apples and oranges. The coffee was fresh. The gentleman running the breakfast was amazing and very helpful to everyone there. He always checked in to see if anyone needed help. If I had one complaint the std waffle machine was there but only one which causes a bit of a backup during peak times... Overall a good stay for the three nights I was there.

May 04, 2025 · David KwakAvoid this place! 1. Management and reception is most rude. They never listen, just make ultimatums. 2. Rooms are extremely bad. If you want to live with insects, this is the right place. 3. They overcharge you and never listen you. Tried to explain it a lot of times but they do not listen and just keep saying that third party should return. The issue is that third party did not charge me, the hotel did. 4. Manager Tony (if she told her real name) is extremely rude and treated customers as if they are her burdens and told us that “you people are wasting my time at 5 am”. 5. The worst thing that you have nobody to complain because they are not under any hotel group. That's why they have such a careless attitude. So if you want to book them despite all bad reviews, book at your own risk and be ready for all bad things.
Jun 12, 2025 · Nurislom NazarovOverall very nice stay. Rooms were very clean and housekeeping staff was super sweet and very helpful. Breakfast was hot and had decent offerings. The walls are a bit thin and you will hear the people above you. But kudos to the kind and obviously hardworking gentleman named Thomas who manned the breakfast area! He always stopped to ask if we had everything we needed, and even offered recommendations of some local spots in the city like the Wharf! He totally deserves a raise or promotion. Made our stay extra special! Please keep him on staff.
Apr 17, 2025 · Sarah FlattWe came into town for the Cherry Blossoms during the end of March 2025. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Arboretum in Washington, DC! From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Toni, the general manager, went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests—her kindness and dedication truly made a difference. Thomas was also outstanding—attentive, personable, and always ready to help with anything we needed throughout our stay. The level of service and hospitality here exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again!
Mar 29, 2025 · Megan Edwardswe stayed here for DC pride because it was the most okay looking hotel near the venue. when we woke up the next morning there was ants literally all over our room, in our food and bed. it was really gross. i let the woman and the front desk know and she literally just said “ok what room” and didn’t apologize or offer any kind of compensation.
