We picked this hotel for this visit for its location by the NoMa Red line stop. And the cheaper price. Our room was a smaller one on the end of the building overlooking the train tracks. Nice to have the window space but you can hear the metro and the Amtrak trains and whistles/horns as they go by. That woke us up a few times. Hotel clean and neat and everything was working, but it shows its age, e.g. wallpaper corners peeling away from the wall. Feels a bit dated. The elevator which seemed to be the one working the most was also the service elevator so we got to see the behind the scenes views of the hotel as housekeeping and such made their rounds. No obvious stairs to get to the second floor check-in desk so had to wait for the elevator. Staff were great. Helpful, friendly. Had a glitch on checking out so I never did get a full receipt. I hope that will not be an issue and we get the credit card hold $ back in a timely manner.

I had a wonderful experience during my recent stay at the Marriott Bonvoy. From the moment I arrived, the service was top-notch. I especially want to recognize Deasia the supervisor at the front desk — she went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail truly set the tone for my stay. Every interaction with the staff was positive, and the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience. I look forward to staying again soon!

We are here for Police Week and have been treated like royalty. This is the second year we have attended and there are many Police Officers and Sheriff’s that are here as well. We are all enjoying high level treatment by the employees here. From the valet to front desk to housekeeping, the staff here is excellent and professional. There is one absolute rockstar employee, MARQUETTE!. Marquette makes every day a great day here. He goes above and beyond to make sure we feel very welcome. The location here is tricky getting in and out of but worth it in my opinion. We are Lifetime Titanium members and we appreciate Marquette and all the staff. We will be back next year.

Room was clean and spacious (we were given an accessible room). However, our room was located on the third floor literally right next to the metro/train tracks so the noise was almost constant. Definitely think twice booking here if you’re a light sleeper. Unfortunately the sleeper sofa in our room was also pretty uncomfortable. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly. Housekeeping was great and we enjoyed the bistro as well. Access to the metro makes it convenient but noisy. Good price point.

I visited Courtyard by Marriott DC in early April 2025. I decided to stay with his hotel chain because Courtyard is always a pleasant stay. I did mobile check in while enroute to the hotel and my room was ready prior to my arrival. Upon entering the hotel, you are on the first floor which you can also find the valet for parking, luggage storage, and we were greeted by Marquette. Marquette is amazing his customer service skills are subpar. He provided some recommendations regarding business in the area. Valet parking is $55 for overnight. There is a small sitting area on the first floor. Afterhours and on the weekends, you need your hotel key in order to get inside the hotel as the doors lock. There is also a security guard on the first floor. There are 3 elevators in which you can take any of them upstairs to the check in desk on the 2nd floor. There are amenities on the 2nd floor including the ATM, the gym (open 24 hours), an indoor pool, conference/meeting rooms, the Bistro restaurant and bar, and Starbucks, etc. There are about 8 floors total in the hotel. Although there was a conference also going on in the hotel it never felt overcrowded and we never waited long for the elevators. We had a view of the back of the hotel and could view the trains coming in and out of the stations in which we loved. When looking at the reviews prior to booking the hotel I did notice many people mentioned the hotel was quite noisy being so close to the train tracks of the Metro Station Red Line and Union Station. Let me assure you if you’re from a big city like I am the noise will not bother you one bit. It didn’t not disturb our sleep. I think it did the opposite and put me to sleep faster. If you’re from a small city or light sleeper maybe requesting a room in the front would work better. I was pleased to find the extra towels and washcloths in the room I requested when arriving to our room. The room was clean and spacious. We also had a separate room with a King size bed with walk in shower that was also clean. There were lots and lots of outlets in the rooms which I also appreciated. My mom wanted an extra blanket I called downstairs around 1:00 am in less than 5 minutes later they were at the door. We had both a microwave and fridge in our room. The fridge was really small, I mean tiny. It’s more of a fridge for beverages than to store food. I could hardly store my salad in it. All the staff we encountered were very hospitable. We did visit the gym and used the treadmills. There is a water station and towels for you to use. The valets also had excellent communication we requested our car prior to coming downstairs and they informed us there was a truck blocking and it would be a delay. I definitely appreciated that instead of having us wonder what was going on. We didn’t eat at the Bistro Restaurant so I can’t give a review for it. The hotel is in walking distance of many restaurants including Dominoes, Subway, Five Guys, and lots more. There is also a 7/11, Harris Teether not too far and CVS. If I come back to this area, I would definitely book this hotel again.
