rooms are small but have everything you need. bed is comfy, room has a refrigerator. walls are SUPER thin, you will hear people in the halls and around you. elevator is shared with the rooftop club which can be annoying if you get back to the hotel between 6p-12am. location is awesome lots of bars, coffee shops, dispensaries, and restaurants around. 5 min walk to metro station. 45 min walk to The National Mall. the reason i put 2 stars on service was that room service tried to enter our room TWICE with the master key—there was no knock, no announcement of coming in and WE DIDNT ORDER room service. it freaked us out.

Jun 16, 2025 · Tiffany ErnstGreat hotel located a block away from the DC Convention Center. Updated rooms even though very small, which is the only negative. However, I get it. The front desk is very professional and greets me coming and going. Bar area fully stocked with a nice bartender. Valet was unusual being you have to pay directly instead of charging to your room. This is a first.
Jun 04, 2025 · Jimmie Jennings IIIThe hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are terrific. Our biggest complaint was the valet and ripping people off. We checked in our car at 1:45p on a Saturday and check out the car at 6:30p on the Sunday. The 24 hour rate was $60 which we were fine with but our issue came with those last 5 hours. They charged us for a FULL $60 for another 24 hours. When on their sign in the front there is a Daily and Event rate of $25 and $35 respectively. We were fully expecting to pay $85 for full 24 and a daily rate but they refused to refund us back the difference charge. Refused to give us our car back until we paid the full $120. We tried to talk to the hotel but they said they are separate from us but they aren’t. They are valeting your guests, like it or not, they are representing your hotel. So I’m giving them the poor score because of their lack of help and working with such a terrible company.
Mar 09, 2025 · Drew PhelpsThe Hotel is beautiful but I think they could invest more in softer beds. Feels like I slept on a pallet. Walls are Super thin so csn hear any and everything next door. Valet is separate from the hotel I didn't care to much for that but they were had great customer service
May 26, 2025 · Quintin MurphyDisappointed with my check in experience, Though Management Made Amends I was looking forward to my stay at the AC Hotel in Washington, DC. I arrived around 8 p.m. after a long drive from New York and had difficulty identifying the hotel’s drop-off area. I ended up parking nearby and walked over to the front desk to check in and request assistance unloading my vehicle. I explained that I was transporting several boxes containing sensitive materials. The concierge mentioned there was a cart available but didn’t know where it was, essentially leaving me to manage everything on my own. Unfortunately, this meant I had to carry all the boxes in and out of the hotel multiple times for meetings — without any assistance from staff, which was both frustrating and disappointing. At checkout, I shared my concerns with the manager, who was very understanding and offered a sincere apology. She offered a 20% discount on my stay as compensation. I appreciate the manager's help and professionalism in managing my concerns.
