I had a really wonderful time staying here! There was some initial difficulty with my check-in, but everyone was on it immediately and it was quickly resolved. The facilities are clean and comfortable. As a newer business, the building is still undergoing some upgrades, but I'm the meantime everything is more than functional. What puts this place over the top in my view is the friendliness of the staff - particularly Jim, the property manager. The atmosphere is warm and homey. The location is very close to the Capitol Mall, Smithsonian museums and other attractions. What isn't close by is easily accessible by using DC's extremely safe, intuitive and user friendly public transportation system. I would definitely stay here again!
