I spent three days and nights at the Residence Inn Washington DC near the convention center. The entire property is well taken care of. The staff was outstanding everywhere from check in to my housekeeping. Even the complimentary breakfast was much better than I've had it other hotels. The bar attached to the Delegate restaurant was great the bartender she was outstanding. The bartenders they had upstairs at the rooftop there I was a bit disappointed they seemed a little confused. And some of the patio furniture definitely needed an upgrade. One of the low round spinning chairs almost sent me to the ground as it was broken. I mentioned it to the bartenders they didn't seem to give a hoot. But overall I would highly recommend this property and I'm very picky about where I stay. Once again the room was in great shape everything worked properly. Again I'd like to mention those that work in housekeeping they really were phenomenal and did a wonderful job. I did try to get an hour later check out but they refused that. But that was really such a little thing it didn't matter. The hotel is centrally located and there are restaurants and taverns nearby. I will be going back to DC again shortly and this will definitely be my hotel of choice. 5 plus stars for the Residence Inn ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐+

May 06, 2025 · R CThe bad - our room wasn't ready for check in for over 2 hrs past stated check in time. our room was directly beneath the gym... which is 24hrs... where people can drop freeweights at 2am and wake up your family. no cold water in the kitchen sink. curtains falling off the windows. tv falling off the wall. moldy shower. glass in the carpet (and in my and my children's feet) from a previous guest. exceptionally rude front desk that wanted to argue about giving us an extra blanket for the sofa-bed. The good - Great location with lots of food options nearby. 2 blocks from the metro. great breakfast and friendly staff at breakfast. EDIT: and to the "owner". If you think the late check in is the biggest problem that would indicate that you are in fact the problem.
Apr 17, 2025 · J DLocated within walking distance of the Convention center area. Good hearty breakfast buffett with eggs, waffles, yogurts, and cereals daily. Choice of bacon or sausage depending, along with a side of oven roasted diced potatoes. Front desk, waitstaff/hosts in the dining area, and housekeeping were most helpful. Upper management and those in training for upper management were especially helpful. Thank you, Nya! Even though I did not park with them, Valet was helpful upon check out. I had used long-term parking a few blocks down through Park Whiz and used the Metro to get around town.
May 20, 2025 · marcel TrainerWe stayed here for 8-9 days exploring DC during the days leading up to Christmas. One of the best stays and honestly the hotel was way nicer than we expected. The room we had came with a kitchen, a living area and the bed. Very spacious, very comfortable, very clean. We used the kitchen to cook basic meals. All the cookware, plates, cutlery were in great condition. Everything I needed, even salt and pepper, was there. No olive oil though but it’s okay! Location-wise it was the best! We walked everywhere and took the metro when we got tired. Everything touristy was no more than a 30 minute walk. There are 2 supermarkets located nearby as well. I also took a yoga class within 10 mins of the hotel. Area is safe, walkable and well-lit. Staff at the hotel incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great vibe, chill but classy. Breakfast was included and had all the basics, which we loved. The room we stayed at had a wonderful view, super quiet, double paned windows. Strong shower. Comfortable bed. Fast WiFi!
Feb 22, 2025 · Jen BacquetBreakfast was super chaotic and full of guests, such a small room for so many people; also there weren’t many options. Location and the room were nice, but honestly wouldn’t go back just because of the awful breakfast experience.
