Hotel in the process of a major renovation. New rooms are well appointed with all modern amenities, and the service is above par. Was looked after and professionally assisted during a stay that started with the unfortunate delay in my luggage from my airline. The concierge was quick to help with a smile, and that made a difference. Every associate I interacted with at this hotel was the epitome of courtesy and thoughtful attention. Great stay.

Jun 12, 2025 · Patrice MaltaisThe staff was awesome everywhere in the hotel. Our dining experience with our waitress Do was very welcoming with a smile every time she served us. She would ask how are day was and she spoke as we were talking to an old friend. DO was awesome!
Jun 15, 2025 · viola hernandezI recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill and while the location is excellent—very close to major attractions like the Capitol and Union Station—I believe there’s significant room for improvement in guest service. The front desk staff, while polite, seemed unprepared and inefficient in handling basic check-in and guest concerns. It’s important to remember that front desk service is not just a task—it represents the face and reputation of the Hyatt brand. Proper training and a customer-first attitude should be a priority. Guests expect professionalism and smooth service from a hotel of this caliber. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and the overall facilities were decent, but better front desk service would have made the stay much more satisfying. I hope management addresses this for future guests.
Jun 07, 2025 · Mohammed AshikuzzamanI was here for a seminar from March 15 to March 20. My room was always kept impeccably clean, the towels were refreshed daily, and the beds were always made flawlessly. The hygiene products provided were excellent. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were in wall holders in the shower and by the sink, respectively. I want to use the brand myself due to the quality. The concierge service was wonderful and all of the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful. Free bottled water was provided for any guest by simply requesting it. The on-site gift shop was organized neatly, and the staff were very pleasant. They serve Starbucks there, and I was thrilled that they sell their delicious lemon cake slices. The lunch for the seminar on one of the days was incredible. Linen tablecloths and napkins, nice silverware, beautiful table settings, food brought out on individual covered plates, and the most prompt service I've ever experienced at a restaurant. My empty dishes were instantly collected, and my water glass was promptly refilled. The prime rib was very tender and moist, the potatoes were perfect, the green beans were delicious, the dinner bread was tasty, the butter was soft, the dinner salad was very good, and the little desserts were beautiful. I will recommend The Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill to anyone I know who plans to travel to Washington DC, and I will definitely stay there during my next visit.
Mar 22, 2025 · Tamara McGeeGreat location, near Capitol Hill, only 10min walk from Union Station. We arrived in the morning and went there to leave our luggage so we don't have to take it everywhere, but they let us have early check-in since there's room available. Thank you so much ❤️ We stayed for 3 days and it was weekday so it's pretty quiet and they did some renovation in the lobby but still comfy to walk. My kids so happy and they want to stay longer. Definitely will come back.
