Jun 10, 2025 · Jim FishGreat first time here, been to NOLA several times but this has to be my favorite new spot to stay in. Location is great, price is great as well. Water pressure was good, the bed and room was comfortable, the hospitality was great as well. Several blocks from all the hot spots for Bourbon Street and there was a great affordable pizza place down the street. Only downfall I ran into was parking, I’m the dummy that read parking was with the hotel, and it is except there’s only 8 spots I believe so get there in a timely manner or find a little parking area close. They offered the street parking but had to move your vehicle by 7 am and I didn’t want to bother with that. But beyond that it was a great experience.
May 30, 2025 · Julie AlfredLoved the location. The courtyard was right outside our door, and we loved it. Room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. Free parking was a bonus. The man that checked us in was the icing on the cake. (I wish I had gotten his name), but you know who you are!!! He made us feel so welcome and took such good care of us. You cannot go wrong by staying here!!
May 29, 2025 · Pam HutchesonThe hotel is charming but could use a bit of attention. Updating some of the furniture and rugs would go a long way. That said, my room, including the bathroom, was immaculately clean. The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and the location is unbeatable: right in the heart of the French Quarter but tucked away from the noise. I would return without hesitation. Thank you Villa Convento!
Jun 02, 2025 · Diana TorresThis was such a unique hotel experience in the Quarter. The lobby and common area are beautifully aged. There will be dust and there will be peeling paint but it only serves to add to the aesthetic. This was my favorite hotel experience in the Quarter, and you cannot beat the price.
