The Haunted Hotel is celebrated for its distinctive features that contribute to its unique appeal and memorable guest experiences:
It is important to acknowledge the detailed negative review that cited specific problems with a booked room, including a broken toilet, non-functional Wi-Fi, and issues with towels and room maintenance (holes in walls, exposed wires). This feedback suggests inconsistencies in room quality and maintenance that prospective guests should be aware of. While many other reviews are overwhelmingly positive regarding staff and general cleanliness, this specific account highlights that individual room experiences can vary, and it might be advisable to confirm specific room conditions or features when booking, especially if certain amenities like reliable in-room Wi-Fi are crucial.
As a boutique-style hotel, The Haunted Hotel may not always feature the expansive promotional programs of larger hotel chains. However, they may offer special packages or discounts directly or through booking platforms. To find the most current and relevant offers, it is always recommended to check their official website or contact them directly using the provided phone numbers. Potential promotions or special offers might include:
The unique "haunted" theme itself serves as a draw, often making the experience the primary "feature" rather than traditional discounts. Inquire when booking to see if any special offers are available for your desired dates.

Jun 16, 2025 · Alex HermanWe so badly wanted to enjoy our time at this hotel. I can't say enough about how wonderful the staff were. Also, the pantry for guests to use was a nice and unexpected amenity. However, the room we booked was not what we were expecting. The beds were comfortable, but that's the only thing we really liked about it. The toilet was finicky and we kept having to open the tank to get it to fill. The wifi did not work in our room. We could only get it to work in the courtyard. The towels were thread-bare. There were holes in the walls and wires sticking out. I was hoping it could be due to the room being upgraded, but if that was the case, the towels would've at least been decent. We were really bummed it didn't work out. We ate the expense and stayed elsewhere.
Apr 16, 2025 · Chelsi WomackPut this one at the top of your list of places to stay in NoLa! The staff goes out of their way to create a warm and welcoming home away from home. The hotel is beautiful and historic. It's also a stop on the local ghost tours! The courtyard is worth the stay alone, and the rooms did indeed have some activity at night that I cannot easily dismiss.
May 18, 2025 · Kristen JohnsenMy son and I stayed for 5 nights at the haunted hotel. We came to ghost hunt in the city and the hotel was the perfect place to stay, the location is great and the hotel gives you the haunted vibe. Rooms are very nice but the staff is the best here, they are so friendly, and they will accommodate you in any way they can. We dealt with two different Christine's and they were both phenomenal and made us feel like family. We will be back to the hotel if we come back to new orleans
