The hotel is beautiful & centrally located. Has been a favorite for many years. This visit started out shaky as our room was by the ice machine. First night very little sleep as every time someone got ice it sounded liked NY subway in room. And people got a lot of ice. Next morning they happily moved us to a quiet room. Service is excellent. Fresh coffee downstairs til about noon. Fresh cucumber water all day.

Apr 12, 2025 · Cathy CIf you can ask for a room near the elevator. Hallways are long and we had quite a walk to our room. Pool was awesome. 50$ valet was not expected at all. Beautiful bar inside good music, central location. Doorman Kenny was helpful with recommendations.
May 14, 2025 · Heather Johnson-BondsGreat hotel! Very clean and perfect location. The pool area was beautiful and very relaxing. Rooms were very cute and comfortable. No noise. Staff very nice.
Jun 14, 2025 · Kelly CerroneThe room was very nice inside, but our room was right next to a busy street so it was incredibly loud and we didn’t sleep at all. The location is next to some nice bars and music. We got valet, was told it was 24 hours. We leave at 5 AM and wait for 20 minutes for our valet just for the receptionist to tell us the QR code doesn’t work and she had to go (probably wake up) the valet which took an additional 20 minutes of waiting which made us late :(. Not happy with service or location, but the bellhops were nice and the rooms were very homey.
May 29, 2025 · Margrette PhillipsIt started with them cancelling our reservation for nothing and got worse from there. After we straightened that out we were advised that the cost per day was $50 more than advertised for parking. Pretty great to hide an extra $200 charge when people book. Never mentioned that anywhere when we paid for the original room reservation. When we got to the room the TP holder was broken. We also notice you only get half a shower door. So if you’re in the back of the shower washing yourself, you’re completely exposed if someone opens the bathroom door. They set the bed so the AC blows right on you. Which seems like a good idea until you realize it makes you go from hot to freezing all night depending on when it kicks on preventing any kind of temperature regulation for you. The window isn’t covered, there is no certain. Just a giant broken wooden “window covering” that allows every bit of light in your face in the morning at sun up, and exterior lights shine in the room all night. And of the 4 nights we were here, they cleaned the room twice. When they didn’t clean and did bring us towels, we hit three for 4 of us. One of the days they asked us if we wanted it cleaned, and then never did it. The ice machine on our floor never worked, there was a large soggy floor right outside. Should have know the advertised price was too good to be true. Should have stayed somewhere where they actually tell you the real price honestly up front. It’s a good thing this is one of the most interesting cities in the US, otherwise the hotel issues would have ruined our only vacation this year. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Especially if you travel with your family on a budget. I travel a lot for work, and get better accommodations and service in basic hotels.
