Amazing hotel in a great location! The building is absolutely beautiful! The interior courtyard is a great place to hang out. Walking distance to Bourbon Street, but so quiet! This light sleeper had no issues. Staff was amazing! Several staffers went above and beyond to be welcoming and provide restaurant reccommendations. Our room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip!

Jun 07, 2025 · Deidre BurgbacherIf you are looking to stay at an authticlally old building in the heart of the French Quarter then this is the place for you! It has no elevators with multiple stairs and directions to your room, but it does have AC and when you get in your room, it has beautiful hardwood floors and some original looking accents. The room was clean and quaint with a separate sitting room that was not really furnished. The balcony is shared with the room next door which was unexpected but not unpleasant. Yes the water pressure is not good at all in the showers (super old building remember) and there is no room service so make sure to bring water and snacks yourself. All the front desk staff was super nice and helpful. As for noise, it is noisy! You can hear everything around you from movements in the hall and neighboring room as if the steps were in your own room and I was street facing and could hear talking, music, the steamboat organ and the cathedral clock chimes. I did not mind any of it for my 4 night stay but it could possibly wear thin for a longer term stay. That being said its in the French Quarter, a block away from Bourbon street so noise was a given. All in all I really enjoyed my experience at this hotel!
Jun 13, 2025 · Tryna FoleyGreat location and wonderful staff! I very much enjoyed my stay for a weekend trip to New Orleans. The hotel is on Royal street-close to the action of Bourbon street without the noise. There was some noise from St. Phillips street you can hear if you have a balcony room. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It's a great place to stay and even lovely for a midday break in your room or the beautiful courtyard. Staff are so sweet and knowledgeable. They assisted me with a late check out and restaurant recommendations. Besides the occasional noise, I will note this is an old building with a faint musky smell and no elevator. The elevator wasn't a problem for me with light luggage but do consider if you have several bags.
May 13, 2025 · Kelsey DesmondThe hotel was very accommodating to hold our luggage for us so we could wander around for the day and then check in. The room was comfortable. The bathroom and room were both clean. I really liked the outlets near the bed. There were many and also some USB C options. I loved the slanted floor that made us feel like drunken sailors when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. 🍷🍸⚓️ The room was very noisy being a balcony room on the street (St. Phillip). Lovely during the day but not so great for sleeping at night. It is also not a very dark room. Luckily I bring earplugs and a mask. The added bonus of painters in the area outside the room patching and painting early in the morning was not great. In addition the sink drained very slowly so I removed the plastic ring, hair, plastic cap, and other items clogging it up with my tweezers and then doused my tweezers in alcohol. Ick!
Apr 24, 2025 · 3R TeacherLocation was excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice new sheets, clean room with new bathroom remodel. The courtyard was beautiful and I really loved the ambiance. My only complaint was the noise in the mornings. The cleaning crew starts very early and it is noisy, it sounds like they are talking and working standing beside you.
