While my parents’ stay at your hotel was generally pleasant, I was very disappointed with the level of professionalism displayed by some of the staff. On July 21, 2025, during the PM shift, I spoke with a front desk associate regarding a $45 parking charge that appeared on our bill. My parents were the only ones staying at the hotel, and they did not have a vehicle, so this charge was unexpected and incorrect. When I attempted to address the issue, the front desk representative was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked to speak with a manager, and she stated the manager was unavailable. I then requested that she leave a message for the manager to call me back, to which she responded dismissively, saying, “The manager is not going to call you,” in a very disrespectful tone. Furthermore, when I explained that I live about 15 minutes from the airport and it was my parents staying at the hotel, she replied condescendingly that it must have been my parents’ friends. This was not only untrue but also highly inappropriate—my parents do not speak English, and this was their first visit to Chicago. Unfortunately, this interaction has left a very negative impression. Given the unprofessional conduct and unresolved billing issue, I regret to say that this will likely be our first and last experience with your hotel.

Bonuses include the extra long tabletop, USB-C to the big screen, no odd smells and a solid breakfast. We ended up passing on the First Watch across the street. The day we left, shuttles ran every 40 min from 5:AM. The friendly desk clerks got us checked in n booked on the shuttle quickly.

I was shocked to find fecal matter on the toilet seat in my room. Despite reporting the issue, it wasn't resolved promptly. The room's cleanliness was unacceptable. When I asked to change rooms, I was denied. The staff member I spoke with seemed unhelpful and unconcerned. I was told someone would be sent to clean the room, but no one arrived. This lack of follow-through was frustrating. The next morning, I spoke with the manager about the incident. Unfortunately, she was dismissive and argumentative. She initially disputed my account, then later offered to credit my account with points. However, the amount credited was insufficient. Then after checking out and heading to the airport, the shuttle driver to the airport was rude and drove recklessly. This was the final disappointment in an already terrible experience. My stay was a disaster from start to finish. The hotel's staff seemed unprofessional, and the management's response to my complaints was inadequate. As a loyal Hyatt member, I expected better. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The lack of accountability, poor customer service, and unprofessional behavior from staff members were appalling.
May 30, 2025 · Jessica MurrayWe used this hotel for airport parking and it was terrible. It said that the shuttle was 4 minutes from the airport and the shuttle came every 30 minutes. My family of 5 got there and they said that it would be over a one hour wait to get a shuttle. That was pretty unbelievable. We got an Uber to the airport. When we called upon arrival it took us 15 minutes to get through and then we waited nearly one hour for the shuttle to come. We saw all of the other shuttles 3-6 times during that span. Some kind shuttle drivers tried to help us because we were there so long. When we did get on, we drove by the international pick up location and they had been waiting for over 1.5 hours and there was still not room for them. They arrived when we did because they just got a cab. This hotel needs more than one shuttle. We will never stay or park here.
Jul 27, 2025 · Jessica KimberlyRoom was decently sized and the bathroom is larger than most hotels. Bed was comfortable; could use better pillows. Good black out shades. We had to ask for clean towels twice which is ridiculous. I expect clean towels every day when paying $200 a night for a room. On the second request we received three days worth of towels at least which was good since the room was not 'sort of' cleaned until day 5 of our stay. The coffee was not replenished; the glasses not replaced nor was the ice bucket cleaned out. We also had to take our smelly trash down to the front desk because it was overflowing and the trash can by the elevator was full. I did notice that other rooms were putting their trash outside along with dirty towels which was not so nice to look at walking down the hall. The parking is horrible. How a hotel with that many rooms has such little parking is amazing. The main large lot has long term parking for the airport. That area has areas of the asphalt cut out which appears to have been from some work being done. There are no lights in that lot and it's rather unnerving coming back at 11 pm and having to park in the farthest out area next to an abandoned part of the building. If you were lucky you could get one of the spots on the other side of the hotel by the highway where there were some lights or in the few limited spaces actually in front of the hotel. Everyone at the front desk that we dealt with was nice. Breakfast was okay-just the normal hotel breakfast.
