I booked this stay 2 days in advance through booking.com. We drove 15 hours and when we arrived at midnight was told that “booking.com” should never had pushed our reservation through and that the room we booked with 2 queen beds was was not available. They proceeded to tell me that they “upgraded” us to a room with 1 queen bed and a sofa bed. I told them that this is not an “upgrade” a sofa bed is smaller and more uncomfortable. Then they told me they would have me a room available the next day and I would have to load up all my stuff again and take it with me to leave the hotel and then have to go back and tote our stuff all the way up again to our new room the next day. Not once did they take accountability they put the blame all on booking.com yet they had 2 days advance to contact me about the room situation and they did not. Instead they waited til we drove the 15 hours and arrived at midnight to tell us. I definitely will not recommend this hotel nor will I return to this hotel again. My partner and I had booked a room specifically to have a place where we could take our anxious dog on 4th of July to escape the noise. I called ahead to confirm that I was getting a pet friendly room and was told by the person that the pet fee was $75, which is fine, I suppose. A few hours later I show up to the hotel and I get to the check-in counter. The process is going fine and then I mention that we are travelling with a pet. I'm told by the receptionist that the extra charge will be $150, double what I was quoted before. I mention to the receptionist that I'd spoken with someone at hotel who'd told me $75. She responded with something to the effect of "Oh you must have gotten a hold of our central reservations line, which is always giving people wrong information, sorry about that it's still gonna be $150" as she proceeds to hand me a generic pet fee form with the $150 amount clearly filled in in pen. Listen, if you want to charge $150 as a pet fee, that's fine, but you should disclose it clearly instead of hiding behind "Oops our generic phone tree must have given you the wrong information." Frankly, if one part of your organization discloses a lower price I think you should just bite the bullet and honor that lower price instead of springing a higher price when you walk through the door. Again, if you have pets in tow, don't ever stay here.

I have stayed here multiple times and have to switch rooms more often than not. Sometimes I get rooms with mold on the ceilings, sometimes the sheets are not clean. Today in the first room the bottom half of the bed didn’t have sheets at all, and the second room didn’t have a shower curtain. Not sure what caused this but it is not good when you need a good place to rest and rejuvenate.

The only reason I gave a 1 rating is because ZERO was not an option. - After phoning in advance to request the top floor, they assigned me the wrong floor upon checking in. - the drain & toilet of the room were not working, and I had to repair them myself upon my entry. - the climate control never worked correctly for my entire stay. It was always way too cold in the room, regardless of what temperature I set. - the airport shuttle schedule was all over the place, and NOT in accordance with what was posted. I missed an important meeting for this reason. - No housekeeping service for any of the days I stayed here (???) - the advertised breakfast was a restaurant that did not even provide room service (and they expected gratuity!?) - the vending machines never worked right; they did not accept cash as advertised; which is my preferred way to purchase from a machine. - the overnight parking fee was sprung on me at the last minute of checking in. This when the website was extremely evasive about it, and my previous phone conversation completely omitted that detail. Suffice to say, AVOID THIS HOTEL!! Myself and my work team will never stay here again, nor any Sonesta Hotel for that matter!!
Jun 10, 2025 · Tom MurrayStayed here for a few nights with friends - very good value! The room was spacious and clean, and the kitchenette was super useful for our stay. Bed was comfortable. My only complaint is I wish there were more than two pillows per bed, and instead of a duvet, they have a comforter between two sheets, so things got tangled up easily. There's a restaurant downstairs we didn't visit, but we did use the well-stocked mini market several times. There's also a free airport shuttle and it's walking distance to the airport tram. Nice service too and helpful staff.
