It caters to a range of local needs, from leisure to business to personal circumstances.
Firstly, its prime downtown location is a major draw for Arizonans. Whether you're attending a concert, a Diamondbacks or Suns game, or a major convention at the Phoenix Convention Center, this hotel places you literally "minutes walking" from the action. This eliminates the need for navigating traffic or paying for expensive event parking, allowing locals to fully enjoy downtown's offerings without the typical logistical hassles. Jun 09, 2025 · Carolyn ValenzuelaRight in the middle of downtown. I was able to check in early. The hotel is very modern and a steal for the price. You’re minutes walking from the baseball field and TONS of restaurants including the hotel one. Room is very clean. Internet is fast enough (10 mbps). Small pebble ice machines I believe on each floor. There is a steamer in the room, but I’m an iron myself, but no stars knocked. The elevators are very fast. Standard Hyatt fare with soaps and such. Room is smaller than a rural one, but plenty for a downtown spot. I would recommend this as a Hyatt guy, but for anyone looking for a nice hotel, this is a great spot.
May 06, 2025 · Derek StoutHands down the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I’ve stayed at dozens of hotels around the world, and this was by far the most frustrating experience. Housekeeping staff were literally yelling in the hallway during the afternoon — how is anyone supposed to rest? They threw away my toothpaste without asking. Who does that? I requested a late check-out and got my key card updated at the front desk. The first time, the card couldn’t even activate the elevator. I went back to fix it, and then it worked for the elevator but still couldn’t open my room. The level of incompetence here is unbelievable. Poor management, terrible communication, and zero respect for guests. Avoid this hotel at all costs.
May 25, 2025 · Xin GuBeautiful rooms and the location downtown is convenient. There plenty of food options and shopping all around. However parking is a nightmare. We couldn’t even find a spot where we could park temporarily to unload suitcases from the car. And unless you do valet, it’s a hike to the parking lot.
Apr 27, 2025 · Angela BTerrible service. Hot and small rooms. Fitness center has no AC. Way over priced. Rude and unhelpful staff. Check your funds because they didn’t tell m they charged my entire stay plus a deposit of $150. Literally a rat trap. Would never recommend anyone to stay here. I called so many times about issues with my room. They never offered any remedies or concessions for non working outlets, non working ac units, a hot fitness center, etc. They clean every other day but come checkout day the staff is knocking on your door bright and early. Simply awful
