The hotel is located inside a university specialised in providing courses for hearing impaired students. The hotel also has features related to that, such as sign language welcome signs and silent door bells. It was an overall nice and interesting stay. The campus is very quiet in general, with bus stops outside of the main gate. There's a convenient store within walkable distance and there are vending machines for drinks inside the hotel. The room is clean and warm. The bed is wide and cushion support the back nicely. However, the sound proof of the room pretty much doesn't exist. I can hear the kids running around and crying in the room across the corridor through two doors. Fortunately, I am not a sensitive sleeper. In addition, the bed is too tall (not sure why). My friend is 175 cm tall and still finds it challenging to get into the bed. And for sure it won't allow you to sit at the edge of the bed comfortably if you are my height ~170 cm.

Apr 16, 2025 · Lily YuRooms were spacious and clean. No complimentary coffee at check in area only what's provided in the room (not Keurig style). Smoking area has no cover on side of building. Conference Center is on a 99 acre campus for the deaf that's very peaceful and pretty. ALERT: Upon check in there is a mandatory parking fee of $50/day that I did not see on the website which made it very unexpected $150 for 3 nights. The website only mentioned their parking garage and not the fee. Was not pleased about that. The parking lot is roughly a blocks walk behind the hotel. If you have a driver that has a challenge walking it may be a struggle. You can drop your luggage and people off near the entry area but someone has to park. There are handicap spots on the main floor of the parking garage. The people we came into contact with were all friendly. Location was great and costs roughly $15 Uber to get to the "mall" area. There is no complimentary breakfast. There is an on-site bistro restaurant which I felt was expensive such as $18 for a burrito bowl for breakfast so I never ate there.
Mar 04, 2025 · Marketing MomGood afternoon, let me start by saying the staff was very professional from start to finish, especially the manager, Andre. His professionalism was impressive. Prior to our stay, it started off a little rocky, with a staff member telling us the rooms had no refrigerator and quoting an incorrect total price. In spite of these setbacks, we opted to continue with our reservation. The hotel, situated in a gated school campus, right next to the Union Market, with a shuttle to the Union Station appealed to us very much. Once there, we couldn't exit the back gate, leading directly to the Union Market, over the weekend due to a gun threat to the campus, according to a staff member. However, what really marred the stay was the fact that no one came to clean our room during our 6-night stay, even after informing 2 staff members. We were told, upon our arrival, that the cleaning occurs every 3 days. After stepping into our room the third day and seeing the garbage still piled up in the two small cans, we called the front desk who assured us someone would come the next day. In addition, we confirmed the room cleaning with the front desk as we secured a key to the back gate with our room number, as we stepped out of the hotel the next morning. That Monday night, the same, our garbage still overflowed. We immediately walked downstairs to return the key to the back gate and the staff member, whom we had asked the previous day about our cleaning, said she had the wrong room number and went upstairs to bring us towels and pick up our garbage. Even then, there was no one sent on Tuesday, the day before checkout, to clean our room. On top of that, upon checkout, even though Andre was crediting us one night stay for the lack of cleaning, the invoice price was totally different from what was quoted, making us late to take the shuttle, causing us to pay for an Uber; we had the morning timed to get back to the airport. In the end, we would not stay in the Kellogg Conference Hotel again, which is a shame because we really liked the location, and the physical appearance of the hotel was very nice.
Apr 25, 2025 · Fini OlafsenReally nice, affordable hotel situated inside a college campus. The rooms are spacious and the surrounding campus is lovely. The hotel is a short walk from Union Market. It is a little walk to the nearest Metro, but you can easily get to the Metro or restaurants in less than 15 minutes by foot.
May 26, 2025 · Sam Miake-LyeThis place is absolutely incredible! If I ever have to stay in DC again, I will always book a room here! Staff was very kind and friendly, the campus is beautiful, the rooms were perfectly kept and clean. Everything about this stay was perfect. Too bad the Caps lost though!
