Stay away from this hotel... especially if you have Platinum and Diamond status Something ALWAYS goes wrong at this hotel and there is ZERO accountability. I've stayed 3 times because I am all for giving hotels a second chance. But it is just not worth it at this place. They will ignore your status and not upgrade you. I got room service and gave a tip additional to their service charge/room delivery charge... they simply added some dollars to what I agreed to and signed for! Thankfully I kept the receipts and they refunded what was added (stolen), but there was no follow-up or service adjustment via points for this. 2 out of my 3 stays they had to change me to another room just after check-out because the sheets were dirty. Plus the TV did not work in one of the rooms. Additionally, I had my do not disturb sign on and wasn't fully dressed one time I stayed and one of their staff just came in instead of just leaving my order at the door. As a solo female traveler this is not just uncomfortable but right out scary! Overall: just stay elsewhere

Jun 16, 2025 · WhereToNYC (and beyond)I had a great stay at the Monaco in Baltimore! After being moved from another hotel due to water and AC issues, the front desk staff at the Monaco was incredibly responsive and made the transition seamless. The room was beautiful—comfortable, stylish, and exactly what I needed. I really enjoyed the complimentary coffee each morning in the lobby—it was such a nice touch to start the day. I do wish there had been a coffee maker in the room, and I was a little disappointed they had run out of plants (such a cool idea!), but those were minor things compared to the overall great experience. I requested extra hangers and received them almost immediately, which speaks to the attentiveness of the staff. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-managed hotel in the heart of Baltimore.
May 18, 2025 · Isabel MarshBeautiful historic hotel. Room was gorgeous and bed comfortable. Best sleep I have had in a hotel in years. Could not hear a thing in the rooms. However basic amenities varied among rooms. Some of my colleagues had coffeemakers and ironing boards and others did not so ask to confirm if you have that in the rooms. Service was great in meetings and rooms. Patrick in food services went above and beyond. I attend for a meeting and when the assorted selection of cupckaes was set out but all the chocolate ones were gone, he hunted down a chocolate cupcake to defrost. Crabcakes in restaurant were excellent
Jun 06, 2025 · Calista SmithLoved the room. The ceiling must be close to 12 feet and it looks like they put two king beds in the room. Very nice indirect light features give the room a cozy but contemporary feel. I slept very well in the luxurious bed. I was missing the anemieties of chain hotels (coffee makers, ironing board, water bottles, a bar in the reception area) but enjoyed the grandeur of the entrance, the deep carpets in the hallways, and the room.
Jun 04, 2025 · Gottfried KibelkaDisclaimer: visited July of 2024 so take this with a grain of salt. Stayed on the highest floor so phenomenal view but the decor was very dated. Like early 2000s dated which is a bit surprising because it’s a Kimpton. Hope they did a refresh. Otherwise, the building itself has beautiful architecture. The B&O restaurant was very nice but not cheap.
