Awesome historic hotel. Lovingly maintained in a tasteful manner true to its historic roots. I am giving five stars for the rooms due to the tasteful historic treatment but these are small by modern standards. True historic luxury in the 1920s style, which was what I was looking for. Immaculately cleaned and maintained rooms. Kitchen and bar service were excellent and the staff was friendly, polite, and helpful without being obnoxiously deferential. Just a fantastic local hotel with lots of history.

Jun 02, 2025 · N GoodallThis hotel can't have a 5 star review but before I say why let me tell you the good. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. The Gym is big and clean as well. Its a beautiful hotel. A great view if you get the right room. Now for this hotel to be so pricey you have to pay for breakfast which is an additional $15. TV in room is well out dated for the price a style they are trying to put on there. security deposit is $75 dollars per day. so if you stay 4days that's $300 just for the security deposit on top of what ever the rate is!!!! Not only that but when you check out you won't get that money back right away. It will take 3 to 5 weeks to get your money back for sure. Now the only reason I can see why this is happening is because they want to gain interest off your money and then give it back to you. Not a place I would recommend to a friend or family. So please be mindful of your spending limits if you are visiting Baltimore and choosing to stay at this hotel. I personally will not stay here again there are other hotel in the area who offer more for a better price. Truly based on the price regardless of getting your security deposit back not worth it Beware!!!! [Rate+($75×days booked)=total fees
Jun 15, 2025 · Moses SoudenThis is an old hotel built in the late 1920's. A lot of the Art Deco charm from the era has been beautifully maintained. The ceilings in the lobby are amazing! There is a Bistro for breakfast, lunch and coffee and a Bar/ Lounge for drinks, lunch and dinner. The food in both areas is good. The Happy Hour at the bar seems quite popular. I enjoyed the fish and chips. The bed in the hotel room is one of the most comfortable I've been in. Fluffy pillows and a nice mattress. The furniture is dated and worn and our tub was clogged. Housekeeping was very responsive. Parking is expensive we paid a little over $20 a day but it was in very close proximity to the hotel. The area feels sketchy but there is a ton of police presence and we always felt safe. I would definitely stay here again.
Mar 25, 2025 · Cory ClayWhat a gorgeous old hotel. the history is as impressive as the architecture!! Ballroom, mezzanine, amphitheatre... It was all not only beautifully and tastefully done, but it was immaculate too. I won't lie, you're gonna pay extra here... But you get what you pay for. The rooms are huge compared to other "two queen" rooms I've stayed in across the country. It's easy to valet or get parking in the public garage right nearby. The ONLY point of criticism I can make is that some of the staff looked "over it" at our groups event. You don't need to smile at all of us - I get it. Long day... People... But a little effort to not seem tortured goes a long way. 😅🤣
May 31, 2025 · Andy CurtissRoom was spacious with two queens. Great shower pressure with plenty of hot hotel. We had to ask a few times to get our room cleaned and we stayed 5 days. When we did get the room cleaned, they done a great job. It’s hard to get any service from any house keeping due to language barrier. Front desk was a huge help and Monet was on top of our complaints and handled things in a timely manner. She also greeted us daily with a smile, a wonderful laugh and great recommendations as to where to your the best places in the city. Valet service was a hit or miss!! We were late on a couple occasions because no staff would get our car or be there on arrival. No help with luggage when we arrived. Two times in our week long stay the valet were either not around and had to give our keys to the front desk or to busy sitting in their booth in the phone without acknowledgement and held his hand out to take our key. After complaint to the right person at that time who was Lindsey, another valet worker, she instantly apologized for her co-workers behavior, reported to the correct person and then the day before we depart a manager then took care of any issue and we had 4 people helping us load for our when we left!! Very nice and clean place to stay. Neighborhood wasn’t to pleasing
