Mar 30, 2025 · Tarra MaleckeI recently stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Secaucus, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience overall. The cleanliness of the hotel was shockingly poor. The room I was given was very dirty, with visible dust and stains on the carpets. To make matters worse, there was absolutely no housekeeping service during my stay. I had to deal with unmade beds and a lack of fresh towels, which was incredibly frustrating. The bathroom was another disaster; it was not only dirty but also had a strange odor that made it quite unpleasant to use. It’s hard to believe that this hotel is part of a well-known chain given the state of the facilities. While I encountered multiple issues, I will say that the front desk staff were a bright spot in my experience. They were friendly and polite, which was a relief amidst the overall chaos of the hotel. However, their kindness couldn't make up for the lack of cleanliness and poor service I experienced. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. A clean room and proper housekeeping are basic expectations, and unfortunately, this hotel fell short.
Feb 17, 2025 · Antonio De HoyosIf I could rate this hotel 0 stars I would !!! I had booked a one-night stay for my daughter’s birthday weekend. We’re traveling from CT so of course first thing you want to do is settle & relax. Instead I tried my hardest not to flip out when I seen the room they gave us!!! Also, not to mention how SKETCHY the parking garage was!!! It’s very dark in daylight so just imagine walking to your car at night !!! Walking into the hotel was also a weird ambiance. No type of maintenance either at this hotel, floor was sticky & dirty. Hallways were also dirty!!! Thankfully the reception desk was nice about giving me my refund back… literally the only nice thing I have to say about this hotel. ( I had to take screenshots of the video I took since it won’t let me upload a video) .
Feb 24, 2025 · Karyme SerranoThis place is NOT a 3 star hotel! It was very outdated. When we came off the elevator it smelled like feet. The room was old and there were parts that were molded. It seemed they went the cheap route in trying to update certain parts of the bathroom. You can definitely tell this place was old and needs major renovation. The parking was distant as there was a side parking garage across the street so it was a little walk to get to the hotel. I would not book a room here again.
Feb 16, 2025 · Erica RodriguezMy biggest regret when booking a hotel was not looking at the reviews. PLEASE AVOID STAYING HERE. For starters, there’s one working elevator (and has been for months apparently). The fitness center is closed (has been for 6-8 months according to other reviews) The rooms are okay, but the toilets barely flush to the point that each one requires a plunge (thankfully the staff provided one). The parking garage is great to have, but it’s downright horrifying to go in to. Couple that with outdated furniture, smelly carpet, and an AC/Heating system that makes more sound than the baby down the hall (which you could hear through the paper thin rooms) and you’ve got a stay from hell. The staff was nice though!
