Residence Inn Secaucus Meadowlands

Had an overnight stay the young ladies at the front desk were super nice and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. The comp breakfast was good too. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is conveniently located near shopping, dining, movies, and a short ride away from the American Dream. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast options were good. The pool, gym, and sitting areas were great. We liked the idea of a suite with a full kitchen. We made requests for additional towels and pillows upon reserving the room, which weren't met. We called to request more once we got there, and they never brought them up. We went directly to the front desk the next morning to request more, and they came right away. The room itself could have been better. The ottoman/chaise was totally stained, the desk had a large crack in the middle, the desk chair was broken, the couch had chalky substance on it, the substance was also under the desk along with layers of dust. I would likely stay again if given a better room.

We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. This is the worst residence inn location we have stayed at. Not only are the rooms incredibly weathered with cabinets hanging loose, ripped carpet, dirty stains, and moldy bathrooms FOR ALL 3 ROOMS, but one of our 3 rooms was incredibly dirty. The countertop was clearly not wiped. There was pubic hair left in the bathroom. Dirty sitting water in the dishwasher, possibly from a broken dishwasher. Food splatter in the microwave. Items from previous guest left in the closet and in the fridge. This location taints the Marriott name. One of our rooms wasn't even ready at 4:20 even though check-in is supposed to be at 4 so not only did we receive an unclean room but we received it late. They also didn't even apologize for the late room - merely said it's around the holidays. Two stars because of the decent complimentary breakfast.

While staying at the Residence Inn Marriott, I encountered some areas for improvement. I noticed stains on the bed sheets and couch pillows, which detracted from the expected quality for the brand. Although the staff promptly replaced the bed sheets upon request, I felt the overall level of hospitality could be enhanced. In particular, the breakfast staff's demeanor could benefit from a more courteous approach.

Wonderful stay during our christmass holidays, fantastic hotel, rooms are clean and big enough, breakfast has huge variety the best part is the location and value for money compare to other hotels in NJ, bus stop to times square is 5 mnts walking and frequent bus service with only 3 stops and total 20 mnts ride @appx4$, also plenty of food outlets are within walking distance Staff is very friendly and always helpful, Ariel and Gayle at front desk are very nice and ready to assist, great job for breakfast staff for their hard and prompt working at morning Special thanks to the Manager Tracey for her proffesional attitude and kindness. Overall great experience and for sure this hotel will be our first choice, whenever for our next Newyork trip.
