I'm disheartened by the reviews which automatically harp on the relaxed and simple check in/out process. Lake Shore Inn is beautiful. It's conveniently placed away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. It's owned by a husband and wife, who are both kind and sincere about guests having a good time. It was explained to me that there were an ABUNDANCE of amenities available to my wife and I when we checked in. Please don't be fooled by the 'No one was there to greet me' crowd. There is a sign at the front desk which explains that if no one is present, to call this number. The property is huge. Two people own and manage the maintenance of it all. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. They're clean, bright and give a very relaxing home like feel to them. They're close enough to every and any thing you.might need to enjoy your stay. I will absolutely return for another stay, I felt more than happy with my stay there

Situated directly on Jenness Pond, the property boasts its own private beach area, providing direct access to the calm waters for swimming, boating, and enjoying picturesque views. The inn is thoughtfully placed away from the "hustle and bustle of the main road," allowing guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty and quietude of New Hampshire. The expansive grounds, which include gardens and picnic areas, offer ample space for relaxation and outdoor activities. This setting provides a unique opportunity to reconnect with nature, whether through watching wildlife, enjoying the lake views, or simply soaking in the peaceful ambiance. The services at Lake Shore Farm Inn are delivered with a personal touch, reflecting the dedication of its owners, a husband and wife team described as "kind and sincere about guests having a good time." This personalized approach extends to the check-in and check-out process, which is designed to be relaxed and simple. While some guests might initially expect a traditional front desk, the inn provides clear instructions, such as a sign to call a specific number if no one is immediately present, acknowledging that the property is managed by two people who also maintain the large grounds. This emphasis on a laid-back, home-like atmosphere is a key part of the inn's charm and appeal. Guest rooms are praised for being "beautiful and very comfortable," consistently described as "clean, bright and give a very relaxing home like feel to them." Housekeeping is available upon request, ensuring cleanliness and comfort throughout your stay.

The features of Lake Shore Farm Inn contribute significantly to its allure. The inn offers various room types, including king and queen rooms, some with stunning lake views and others with serene hill or mountain views. Each room is designed for comfort, featuring premium bedding, pillowtop mattresses, and down comforters, promising a restful night's sleep. Lake Shore Farm Inn is also a popular venue for events, particularly weddings. Its picturesque setting with waterfront fields, a private beach, and various indoor spaces like a barn and a tavern, make it an ideal choice for ceremonies and receptions. As one reviewer mentioned, rooms are "close enough to every and any thing you might need to enjoy your stay," with restaurants and a grocery store reportedly within a few miles.

While specific overarching promotional slogans are not explicitly detailed, the inn's appeal is conveyed through its key features and guest experiences. The emphasis is on providing a "cozy comfortable hotel" with a "relaxing home-like feel," away from the "urbanization." The availability of abundant amenities, a beautiful location, and the personal touch of the owners are recurring themes in guest feedback, which serve as strong endorsements. Me and my new husband stayed there for the weekend. We got married on Saturday! So any expectations of the best for our precious weekend was met at this wonderful location. Slept like babies and we felt so calm and relaxed in this cozy comfortable hotel ❤ Plus.. The owner left us gifts in the room on our arrival, big bouquet of flowers (that we used our wedding) and box of Chocolate truffles 💞 Thank you so much Mariam!!! 😍🥰👍

Lake Shore Farm Inn. Upon arrival, there is a grammatically challenged sign on the desk with a phone number explaining that you need to make a phone call to check in and that only one person works there. Well, nothing is more evident than that. We called and we checked in for our 2-night stay. We were shown to our room and never saw the guy again. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The view of the pond was nice. The room was tiny, the TV was tiny, the refrigerator was good with a freezer that actually worked, and the bathroom was tiny. There is a tiny table and chairs set, the size of a child's play set. The vending machine in the lobby was "Out of Order." No longer is there a working restaurant on the premises. As others have written, you practically had to step into the bathtub to close and open the bathroom door. The bathroom was clean. Use caution, the seat moves when you least expect it. There were no tissues in the room. There is a K-Cup coffee maker but the coffee supplies were not replaced for our second day. I suppose this was because there is no housekeeping if staying two or more days. The walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbor's TVs clearly, as well as their "adult alone time." Despite putting our sign out on the door requesting housekeeping, nothing was done. We had one set of towels for two days. We opened the dresser and found old stale snacks had been left in it by previous occupants. Check out was another phone call. It sounded as if we woke him. It was 10:45. We did get a "Have a good day" but nothing as far as "Thank you for staying with us" "Please come again" or even "How was your stay?" It was almost like we were bothering him to check out. We just put the key on the desk and left. Two days and we saw the guy once. I guess the old saying, "You get what you pay for" holds true here. Never again.

This is a nice place with lots of ambience and character. A nice pond plenty of swimming and summer stuff. However there is a tavern in its heyday I'm sure was great. Pool table darts there's an actual bar there but nobody ever mans it is essentially closed down and more of a rec room now. The restaurant that was on premises is shut down. There's no continental breakfast of any type. And the closest grocery store is further than you would want it to be. Despite that this place has loads and loads of potential. Unfortunately the two biggest drawbacks are the current program the state CAP offices run. It is loaded with unsavory characters. What I'm sure are multiple illicit drug sales. And to my knowledge at least three or four overdoses in the past year. Now I am not downing The residence at the end a lot of them are families trying to pull their lives back together despite their unfortunate circumstances there are many very good people there. But the percentage of riff Raff is a little bit higher than in most areas due to the program. As bad as all that sounds that is not this nice inns biggest downfall. That would go to the current owner. Let me just say...She is a quite lovely lady for about 30% of the time. The rest of the time it is usually hit or miss as to her customer service attitude. The evening time is usually not a good time to approach her.... She tries to run the inn like it is her home and she is just letting you stay in a back bedroom. With zero knowledge as to operating a licenced inn. Or the regulations and laws set forth for an inn/motel. Aside from that she is a nice lady and means well but she is not cut out for being in a customer service running a motel business.
