We recently stayed at the One11 Hotel and wanted to begin by acknowledging the positives. The property itself is visually stunning—clearly the product of a thoughtful and ambitious vision. The check-in process was seamless, the hotel was clean, and both the front desk and bar staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional. The location is also prime, making it a convenient spot for exploring the area. However, our experience was significantly impacted by the room’s air conditioning. We completely understand that, given the age of the building, central air may not have been feasible. That said, the AC unit in our room was not adequate for the space. The room remained uncomfortably warm and stuffy, especially with outdoor temperatures in the 90s. At one point, the thermostat was set to 69°F, yet the room remained at 75°F. Maintenance confirmed that the unit was functioning as intended and that this was the maximum output. An industrial fan was brought up as a solution, but it was noisy and offered minimal relief. Unfortunately, due to the lack of effective climate control, we checked out earlier than planned and will not be returning. While the aesthetics and service were impressive, comfort is a priority for us—particularly during the hotter months

ONE11 Hotel is a relatively new and exciting addition to the New Orleans hotel scene, thoughtfully built within a beautifully restored 19th-century sugar warehouse. The result is a visually stunning property that feels both rooted in history and thoroughly modern.

From the moment you step in, the check-in process is seamless, and the staff—from the front desk to the bar—are known for being exceptionally welcoming, professional, and helpful. While some guests have noted challenges with the air conditioning in rooms, especially during New Orleans' hot summer months, the overall consensus highlights the hotel's dedication to providing a high-quality lodging experience that is secure, clean, and reasonably priced for its prime French Quarter location. It's a sophisticated urban retreat that promises a memorable stay.

Jun 01, 2025 · Mica RossExcellent excellent experience from the staff, location, cleanliness, and room size!! I’m very particular about where we lodge, and this hotel was spotless inside the rooms and out. No worry about bugs, stains, dirt or severe wear in the rooms. Highly recommend for secure, clean, and reasonable priced hotel in the french quarter. Shout out to the front desk! One small thing is to ensure there is a way for new guests to check in late at night when the door is locked. Luckily my uber driver was able to go to the other side of the building and see someone, otherwise, not sure if i could check in.
Jun 11, 2025 · Dan The MentorVery cute hotel. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. On the plus side, the location is walking distance to The French Quarter and Bourbon Street. The staff is friendly and helpful. Security is excellent, as only key cards can access the floors with rooms. Taking a star off is the very thin blankets and super squishy pillows, as well as frequent loud horn blasts, coming from both the steam boats and nearby train. They offer a free breakfast which includes coffee, juice, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, waffles, cereal, and pastry's and bread. There is a small courtyard with a equally small pool.
Apr 11, 2025 · Tom PA great new hotel with a great location. Far enough from the quarter to not hear the noise, but an easy walk to countless restaurants. You will hear the train and ships on the river, but to me that is a good sounds. The breakfast could be better, but it is fine. The bartenders are great.
Jun 06, 2025 · Aaron DeppenThis is a really nice, small and historic hotel in the middle of everything. The French Quarter and Canal Street are a stone's throw, while CBD and Marigny are an easy cab ride away. The hotel itself is in an old sugar refinery which has been beautifully converted into the historic lodging. There are eight floors. The building is old, but the renovation is all sleek and modern. We were immediately impressed with how comfortable and clean our room was. We loved the original windows and exposed walls and other structural elements which gave the place an authentic feel. There's an on-site restaurant and a really nice pool and top-level lounge. If you're looking to stay in this area, you'll be hard pressed to find a better value. One thing. There are trains that pass in all times of the night with their loud horns. Be prepared for that. Parking is in the surrounding surface lots and is ENORMOUSLY expensive.
