We ate at the Rooftop last night and loved it! Our table wasn't quite ready, so we sat at the bar and enjoyed a great cocktail. I'd asked for a modification on one of their specialties and was most graciously accommodated. I didn't get the bartender's name, but he was great, as was his colleague. Our table by the window was ready, and we were greeted by Andrea, our server. Poor thing was REALLY busy and apologized profusely. She allowed us to linger over our cocktails and took our appetizer order of oysters, which were delicious! We ordered dinner, my husband had the haddock, and I had the halibut. Both were big portions and were priced well. His was delicious. Mine was perfectly cooked but too over spiced with the chili oil. Our server was very considerate and adjusted our final bill. We took a slice of the pistachio cake back to our inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend it. We were there on a Tuesday night, and it was very busy, so that says something.

Promotional Information and Special Notes:
As a popular destination, especially during peak seasons, the Pelham House Resort can be very busy, as evidenced by a customer's remark about a Tuesday night being "very busy." This suggests its popularity and the value guests find in its offerings. Guests should be aware of specific policies, such as a minimum check-in age of 21. While pets are not allowed, service animals are welcome. There is a resort fee of 8% of the room rate, which typically includes beach access, beach loungers, beach towels, concierge service, in-room coffee, pool access, and valet parking. The property has ongoing renovations in its lobby and rooms, which guests are advised to inquire about for additional information. It's also important to note that the property does not have elevators, meaning upper floors are accessible by stairs only, which could be a consideration for some guests. During certain times, particularly Friday evenings through Sunday mornings, beach and pool access at Pelham House Resort might be unavailable due to exclusive wedding buyouts, so it is advisable to check with the resort if your stay falls within these times. If you are a guest of a sister property like Pelham on Earle or Pelham on Main, complimentary shuttle service is often provided to Pelham House Resort for access to its amenities, with similar restrictions on beach and pool access during wedding buyouts.

Its stunning oceanfront location, private beach, exceptional dining experiences, and well-appointed rooms make it an ideal choice for those seeking a memorable coastal getaway. May 21, 2025 · Patricia SwiatekWe stayed at The Pelham Resort at Cape Cod as part of my partner’s 55th birthday celebration. While enjoying a truly exceptional dinner at The Rooftop at Pelham House, we decided to book an oceanfront king room on the spot rather than drive back to Boston—thinking it would be the perfect way to end a special evening. The room was stunning, and we were initially thrilled. Sadly, that feeling was short-lived. We were woken before 8 a.m. by several workmen walking directly past our room—while we were still sleeping, without pyjamas and with the curtains open. Soon after came the loud, relentless noise of pool construction right outside. The workers were professional and courteous as we scrambled to close the curtains, but the disruption completely shattered any sense of peace or romance. I raised this immediately with the front desk on checkout and was assured that the Director would call me to “arrange something as a way of an apology.” I explained we were visiting from Scotland, so a future stay credit wasn’t appropriate. Since then, I’ve called the hotel three times. On the first occasion, I was told someone would be in touch to issue some sort of refund. On the next two attempts, I was put through to voicemail (Heather, I believe) and received no response. Despite multiple reassurances, no one has had the basic courtesy to return my call. It’s deeply disappointing that what started as such a memorable evening has ended with this level of disregard. I now find myself leaving a public review, with a view to never returning to this resort. I genuinely question the integrity and basic decency of an establishment that promises to “make things right” and then ignores a guest entirely. I hope this review prompts the management to reflect—and more importantly, helps others avoid the experience we had.
May 19, 2025 · Lyndsey TaylorThe most perfect venue for a surprise 50th Birthday Brunch for my daughter. Katie in the Catering Dept was my first contact and made the whole process and experience very smooth. The guests loved not only the private room with the view, but also raved about the food! From beginning to end, the event could not have gone better, and I highly recommend the Pelham House Resort for any special event!
May 20, 2025 · Donna MaioccaClean, spacious, and quaint location. Room was relatively basic but the TV was nice quality and the bed was very comfortable. Had everything we needed - close to the beach, nice pool/patio area, and they even set you up with a wagon for beach days. We did see a rather large coyote Saturday AM at around 8am. Best to be wary of that if you are visiting with small children or pets.
May 21, 2025 · Daniel DempseyBeen here a couple times now and absolutely love it! It's a nice little escape for me and my husband over the bridge but not too far away. It's right on the water and they have their own restaurant also right on the property. If you plan to go to the restaurant for dinner though, don't go on a Sunday night because they close at 3:30p. Wish we had known this the last time we went but ended up going to the Yarmouth house instead which was only a 15 minute drive from there. Not sure if the dinner hours are different in summer but we went in February for my birthday. Still a great, beautiful place.
