We had a reservation for 4 nights. The first room they gave us had no door to the toilet or the shower. We immediately rejected it. The second room was on the second floor and the elevator was broken. They had it fixed by the next morning. The shower handle fell off in that room. We were moved to the third floor and that room was okay. The breakfast was really good. The most annoying thing was that the staff is nearly all Indian and they spend the whole day talking to their friends on speaker on their cellphone in Hindi. They don’t answer the phone because of that. The one good person was named Shane. He really cared. The building is very old and is not kept up properly. Parking is right across the street. The neighborhood is probably the best in all of Philly. You can walk to endless restaurants and attractions

Guests can also expect daily housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and comfort within the rooms. While specific details on other services like luggage assistance or concierge are not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, the staff's general helpfulness suggests a readiness to assist guests with their needs.

May 13, 2025 · Larry FalkinI was visiting friends in Philly and had originally booked a room at a nearby airbnb/hotel hybrid concept; one where it is self service everything including checking in/out. I decided to stay an extra night and I did not like the sterile vibe of the self-service place and so I decided to give Quality Inn Center City a try. In a panic to book online last minute, I accidentally booked for the wrong night. Jay, the manager, quickly put me at ease when I arrived around 5pm and he quickly a room situated for me for the evening. The room was extra clean, quiet and comfortable which I really appreciated after a long day of exploring with friends. Jay was there the next morning and he genuinely asked how my stay was as he processed my checkout. He also assisted me in getting the wrong date that I booked sorted out. I travel to Philly from NYC quite a bit and I will not hesitate to stay at Quality Inn Center City in the future. The quality, value and location are great, but the people who work there are even better! Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel when staying in Philly!
Apr 08, 2025 · Mario VasquezThe staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Great location for getting around the city. The rooms are fine but because there is an AC unit in the window the units above drip down on to the one in your window and make these very loud sounds that can wake you up in the middle of the night. Not a deal breaker just kind of annoying. But I would still recommend staying here.
May 04, 2025 · Daisy MayIt's an old building but they made some rennovations and really tried to update the place and they did what they could. I'm not complaining. The room itself: clean, quaint. You get exactly what you want from a room. Barely hear any other people around and it does what it needs to. I'm used to places like California and Texas where everything is much larger than it needs to be. The AC is loud but the noise actually helped me sleep and there isn't much of a view but whatever. The area is full of restaurants and shops too. We were walking distance to the venue for the wedding we were going to and it couldn't have been better. 10 out of 10 would stay here again.
May 09, 2025 · Taralynn BalingitIf you value sleep at all, don’t stay here. The AC unit in my room was deafeningly loud. When switched on it sounds like an aeroplane engine, when switched off it makes horrendous banging noises. It did this all through the night to the point where I made makeshift earplugs out of tissue paper and even then still couldn’t sleep. The door to my room was also loose when locked which made me feel that it was not very secure. The flooring on the way to my room was very uneven and I actually tripped when going to my room. Receptionist was friendly and the location is good, which is really the only positive thing I have to say.
