My new home away from home in Philadelphia. The space had everything you need and nothing you don’t. I loved being able to check in the building early and relax in the lounge while waiting for my room to unlock digitally at 4:00 PM. You can also store your bags after checkout and come back for them later, or pay extra for a late checkout. I was totally happy with the mostly unmanned setup. They provided earplugs, but I didn’t find the room noisy at all. The location was perfect, within walking distance of restaurants and a small grocery store with all the essentials. The only thing I’d suggest to improve is a better-equipped kitchenette either in the rooms or in the lounge. Even just having some paper plates, utensils, and basics on hand would be nice. It's not essential, but it would make a good setup even better.

May 21, 2025 · Daya NaefLocation needs more luggage lockers but I was able to get an early check in. My one star docked is because of the location not anything to do with Sonder, the stay or the staff. The location is incredibly busy with people yelling in the streets until 2:30 am. This was a Thursday night. It was then dead quiet until 8:30 when "normal city noises" began again. They do provide ear plugs, but I'm letting you know this is a trade off for the more expensive hotels located away from the louder night life areas.
Apr 28, 2025 · Kelly GreenHorrible experience with this “hotel”. No hot water in freezing temperatures. Customer service took 3 hours on constant chat to get any thing resolved and attempted to get rid of me and give me the run around multiple times. The agents were totally rude and lied to me multiple times about the refund and then attempted to gaslight me over it. If you have a choice and want a to enjoy at least a warm shower look elsewhere, Sonder is a total disaster.
Mar 21, 2025 · J HNice location with lots around but that’s where it ends. The Jack of person response is an issue when there is an issue. The lock on my room wasn’t working on night one. Night two the lights started acting up because of exposed electrodes on a touch panel, night three there was no hot water right before preparing for bed. Bed is medium. The water in Philly is disgusting the hotel needs to invest in a water purifier. Support was good for the lock issue and gets water giving a $20usd credit but would only move me late at night the day before my 530 am pickup to the airport. The building needs some work it’s visibly worn and rough around the edges. Cleaning is not great surface level only. The power bars were covered in gross white specs, bathroom base boards were clearly dirty.
Dec 09, 2024 · James WilkinsonWouldn’t let me in the building because my ID and card on file didn’t match(I used my wife’s debit card). Took a 45 minute phone call until they sent me the appropriate link to change my check in information. Bed sheets and 2 towels had small stains on them. Our room was 63 degrees when we got there. From 1:30am-3:45 am construction was happening on the street with constant car horn beeping and people yelling and being extremely loud in the hallways. Terrible experience and waste of money from start to finish.
