The hotel was not nearly as bad as the other reviews make it out to be. If you are okay with not having a 5-star hotel, this will be perfectly fine for you. The room was clean, only thing was there was some mold in the wall grout in the bathroom. The room we were originally put in didn’t have a TV that worked, so we were given a different room. Room came with a clean refrigerator (microwave is communal downstairs), clean sheets, and clean towels. Breakfast is included and free, but it’s really only the basics: some pastries and cereal. But it’s New York — there’s bodegas and bagel shops a 10 min walk away (check out Bagel Pub!) Subway station is 1 block away. It takes about 35 minutes to get into downtown Manhattan, which may seem like a lot, but for the price, I don’t mind riding the subway for a little longer. For the price, I think it’s exactly what you’d expect — not perfect, but doable.

Dec 15, 2024 · Jordyn TomlinI want to Thank You for the great service. Very clean room and convenient to a lot of places. I made a review through Expedia and it was for the car rental not for my hotel stay. My apologies for the confusion.
Mar 30, 2025 · JenniferHorrible room. Extremely cramped. No closet, just 3 hooks on the wall. Lousy television. Nowhere to sit except the bed. Thin walls, the things I heard from a couple "enjoying" themselves nextdoor was too much. Do not book this place! I know it's on Priceline and you might think it should be good, but it seriously SUCKS! I wasn't expecting a lot because it is so cheap, but I wasn't expecting it to be this bad!!!
Feb 27, 2025 · Kathy Kelly ChristosI booked three nights as I was in town for a wedding. Check-in was smooth and they gave me an option of a room in the front or the back (which was more quiet which I appreciated). The room itself seemed clean but run down. I did notice what looked like old blood or coffee stains along the bottom of the bed and dirt. After waking up the morning after the first night, I began to notice what looked like hives all over my body - including my face, hands and legs. Upon calling my dermatologist, he thought they could be bug bites as they were not going away even after taking allergy medication for 24 hours. I notified the hotel staff and they checked the room and said they didn't see any bugs. I had to stay another night because it was too late to find another hotel and they didn't have any other rooms available. I woke up the next day with even more bites across my face and hands - which was unfortunate as I was the maid of honor in this wedding. I believe it could've been bed bugs even though I didn't see any. The hotel offered to refund my room for one night and I checked out early. 4 days later, the bites are still very prevalent and very itchy. The walls are quite thin and I could hear the elevator at night and people showering next door. Also the building does shake a bit from traffic. All in all - the staff was helpful but it was unfortunate what happened to me and I frankly will not be staying there again.
