Convenient location to hospital and Seneca, 15 minutes to Clemson. The room rate is reasonable. Rooms are quick glance surface clean; carpets and grout needed a deep clean(socks were dirty after only a few minutes). In room coffee isn't worth the time, walk to the gas station if you want to enjoy a cup. Plenty of food options (fast & table service) within walking or short driving distance. Staff didn't seem very cheerful, not a single smile or good morning, but they were bustling around. Some areas could use some touch-up paint (doors, railings). Nice little outdoor seating area near the pool was used by many guests, including us. Linens and bath towels were clean and fluffy. AC worked well. Parking didn't seem to be an issue. Small continental breakfast, limited options, but if you're hungry and on a budget, it's an option. Small pool with chair lift placed in a corner of the parking lot near the outdoor smoking / seating area.

Mar 30, 2025 · Misty PonciaOur stay was a little longer than anticipated but Nilam and staff were great and made us feel right at home. Could not have asked for much more.
May 10, 2025 · Chris ToweI have stayed here in the past several times, and it has been an acceptable place to stay. This time, not so much, place has gone down hill. I get there and check in, super quick, no problems. Go to my room and the room is clean. So far so good. Go to unload the vehicle, not there even 5 minutes and witness a drug deal go down in the parking lot. Secure myself in the room for the night. Can smell marijuana in the room coming from the outside, and on the balcony. During the week it was a bit noisy with people yelling, motorcycles reving their engines, diesel trucks running, car doors slamming etc... Two mornings at about 5:30 A.M. I was awoken to the strong nauseating odor of diesel fumes coming into the room. Room service only came once over the week stay. I had to get the towels and toilet paper from the front desk and then empty the trash cans myself. One of the nights there was Police activity in the parking lot with someone possibly getting arrested and their vehicle being towed. Marijuana smell thru out the week. There are homeless people sleeping in the bushes on the perimeter of the property. Most of the vehicles in the parking lot were from SC and local, staying there thru out the day. The other guests seemed to be living there and not traveling thru or there on any business. I don't feel it is safe for solo females, families or the elderly to stay there. The hotel and its surroundings have gone down hill. On my last night I left in the middle of the night trying to beat an approaching storm. After getting home and checking my bill I found I was charged $170 more for the week than what was originally booked. Never again !! Signed a Gold Elite Choice Hotel Member.
Jan 25, 2025 · Violet DaenerysThe room itself was good. It was clean, however, the pillows did smell like Marijuana smoke. But other than that the room was clean. My issues are that I was not notified of a 'deposit' charge until after I had already checked into the room. When I called the front desk, they advised me that the charge was in case I didn't show up the first night. Which makes NO sense. I understand my money will be coming back to me, but this should be made evident on their website for people to plan finances better as we brought mostly cash for our trip. So be advised, even if you show up for your reservation, you'll still be charged. Also, at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday we were woken up by someone weedeating for almost an hour just outside of our room. I get that it's hot during the day, but when people are out of town, they sure don't want to wake up early on a Saturday morning. Maybe do yard work during the week? Room service also knocked on our door 3 times between 10:15 and 10:20 on our check out day. We were up and moving but I guess not moving fast enough. The manager I spoke to was rude, but the other ladies working the desks were pleasant to deal with!
