HORRIBLE HOTEL. Terrible customer service. If you stay more than one night they do not clean your room. Also, we booked a hotel stay for one of our employees(not me) and the hotel sent him away saying he didn't have a reservation. When we called to get our money back they refused to refund saying we were considered a "no show" even though they are the ones that sent him away. The front desk associate said that because she wasn't working at the time of the attempted check-in, she couldn't help. I could try to call back throughout the day to see if someone could help. I practically had to beg for assistance. NEVER will we stay here again. Stay almost anywhere but here.
Quality Inn Suwanee I-85 presents itself as a value-oriented hotel option for travelers searching within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category in Suwanee, Georgia. As part of the Choice Hotels brand, it generally aims to provide essential comforts and amenities at an accessible price point, catering to both business and leisure travelers looking for an economical stay.
The hotel is situated at 2945 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024, USA. This location offers convenient access to Interstate 85 (Exit 115) and is within proximity to various local attractions and businesses. For direct inquiries and reservations, the hotel can be reached at (678) 408-4832 or +1 678-408-4832.
Quality Inn Suwanee I-85 features 80 guest rooms spread across two floors, with access via exterior corridors. The rooms typically offer standard hotel amenities to ensure a basic level of comfort. Each room is generally equipped with a 40-inch LCD TV with cable channels, a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee/tea maker. Guests can expect air conditioning, heating, and an iron/ironing board in their rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, which is a significant convenience for guests needing to stay connected. The bathrooms include a shower/tub combination and complimentary toiletries. The hotel also offers different room configurations, including those with king, queen, or double beds, and options for smoking or non-smoking rooms.
However, it is crucial to address the environment and accommodation quality as described in recent customer reviews. One review states that the room was "ok but the toilet wasn't secured and there was roaches coming out from under the carpet," indicating significant issues with maintenance and cleanliness. Another guest mentioned that rooms are "outdated," and a recurring complaint is the lack of housekeeping for stays longer than one night, with one guest stating, "If you stay more than one night they do not clean your room." This suggests that while basic amenities are present, the overall condition and upkeep of the property, particularly regarding cleanliness and pest control, may be inconsistent or fall below expected standards.
Quality Inn Suwanee I-85 offers several features aimed at providing value and convenience for its guests. A notable amenity is the complimentary hot breakfast buffet, which typically includes a variety of options to start the day. The hotel also provides free daily newspapers and free coffee in the lobby, which are standard offerings for the brand.
For recreation, the hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, available generally from May to October, and a fitness center. Other practical services include a 24-hour front desk, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a business center. Free self-parking is available on-site, including RV/bus/truck parking, which can be beneficial for certain travelers. The hotel is also pet-friendly, allowing two pets per room for an extra charge of $25 per pet, per night, with service animals being exempt from fees.
Despite these advertised services, customer feedback points to severe deficiencies in customer service and operational execution. Multiple reviews describe "HORRIBLE HOTEL" and "Terrible customer service." Incidents include an employee being denied a reservation and sent away, followed by the hotel refusing a refund and claiming a "no show" despite their own action. Another guest recounted a "nightmare" experience involving conflicting information about check-out times, a rude staff member demanding immediate departure, and overall unhelpful interactions with the front desk. The phrase "I practically had to beg for assistance" highlights the challenges guests faced when trying to resolve issues. The staff's unresponsiveness and lack of accountability ("she didn't care" about a third-party reservation error, or inability to help because "she wasn't working at the time") are consistently criticized.
Quality Inn Suwanee I-85 is generally marketed as a budget-friendly hotel offering essential amenities like free breakfast and Wi-Fi, suitable for various travelers. Its location near major highways and local attractions like the Mall of Georgia, Suwanee Sports Academy, and being a drive away from Lake Lanier, is often emphasized as a selling point. As a "Hotels Near Of Me" option, it aims to attract guests looking for affordability without compromising too much on convenience.
However, the overwhelming negative feedback regarding cleanliness, pest issues (e.g., "roaches coming out from under the carpet"), and especially the highly problematic customer service, significantly impacts the overall perception. Reviews strongly advise against staying at this particular location, with sentiments like "NEVER will we stay here again. Stay almost anywhere but here" and "I'll never go back to that location." These direct and strong condemnations from multiple guests suggest that while the hotel may offer competitive pricing, the trade-off in terms of service quality and room condition can be substantial.
In conclusion, while Quality Inn Suwanee I-85 provides a modest range of amenities such as complimentary breakfast, an outdoor pool, and pet-friendly policies, prospective guests must be fully aware of the serious and consistent concerns raised by past customers. The reported issues with cleanliness, pest infestations, and particularly the severe breakdowns in customer service and problem resolution, indicate that the hotel may struggle to meet basic hospitality standards. It is advisable for anyone considering this hotel to manage expectations accordingly and be prepared for potential challenges during their stay.

Jan 14, 2025 · Alicia AllisonSo I came in with a last minute check in late night. I called in advance and spoke to a customer service person that assured me she entered my reservation as well as signed me up for choice rewards. I checked in about 3 am on March 3rd and was given the information and a different amount. The lady at check in said the conversation I had on the phone was a third party and she didnt care. She advised me that because of the time of check in I was paid until MARCH 4, 2025. At 1:30 pm on March 3rd, 2025 I had received no notice of it being time to check out. A rude lady came knocking on my door and said it is almost 2 pm. Check out is 11:00 am. You got 5 minutes to get off of my property. That is verbatim. This lady knows who she is (black GT long coat). In our exchange all she said when I spoke was excuse me. She must've said that 15 times in 3 minutes. She was rude and I didn't even go to front office to complain. If this can be forwarded to Choice Motels. You should pull your backing on that location. The room was ok but the toilet wasn't secured and there was roaches coming out from under the carpet. I'll never go back to that location and will go out of my way to speak against that location and that woman in particular. I welcome management to reach out to me and hear the rest of this drama.
Mar 03, 2025 · Joe WrenVery weird interaction with staff they said they needed to come into the room and fix something but then the gentleman kind of just tinkered with random stuff and ask me personal questions to which I ignored him. Felt kind of preyed upon because I'm a solo female that travels alone and it was just weird. I wouldn't stay here ever again it's not even that clean the breakfast was not all the way together either
Mar 31, 2025 · Bossy Empryss TVA very old tired motel that is in desperate need of renovations. Location was great, breakfast was good but.... Rooms... Our door didn't close tight, found a used needle on bathroom floor, overall very old room and furnishings.
