The stay was really enjoyable. Nice staff! We called from the Newark airport and got a free shuttle to the hotel! The room was clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable and very spacious!! Came with a fridge and microwave. The breakfast was good! They offered plenty of things: juice, milk, a large assortment of pastries including donuts, croissants, jelly donuts, muffins. There was sausage, egg patties, waffles, french toast, oatmeal, bagels, toast, cereal, jellies, butter, syrup, cream cheese, bananas, tea, coffee etc! Great for a free breakfast open 6am-10am. Quick 7-8 min walk to the main station and it's a quick trip to new york. The bathroom in my room was pretty dated but my friends who were staying got a nicer updated version. The hotel is working on renovations right now so I'm not too bothered by that. Very affordable. AC worked well, walls are a bit thin but there weren't many guests so nothing was too loud. Most importantly I felt safe here too! Would definitely stay again!

Dec 15, 2024 · Zoe BarnesGood location, walking distance to both PATH station and Indian Square. Staff was friendly, not too many breakfast options but good for price. Rooms were decent for the price. Be prepared bathrooms are very small.
May 05, 2025 · Hemil MehtaThis hotel is a death trap! We experienced a terrifying, life-threatening situation when we got stuck in the elevator for 20-25 minutes. We were about to pass out, gasping for air, and had to call 911 to save our lives. It’s clear they don’t do proper maintenance and are playing with people’s lives. This level of negligence is beyond unacceptable. If you value your safety, DO NOT stay here! Moreover, neighborhood is unsafe, especially at night. We felt extremely uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to leave the area. Between the terrible conditions inside the hotel and the dangerous surroundings, this place is an absolute disaster.

Apr 06, 2025 · Anny RochaMy wife and I stayed at the Ramada from May 2020-September 2021 during the Covid Pandemic. We spent tens of thousands of dollars. We stayed several times a month for the next several years for getaways from Manhattan. After our last trip we will never return. Due to a physical condition, under medical care, I experienced a problem. We had already booked several future stays. I was informed the hotel would not honor our reservation. Our names, phone numbers and email addresses are on file. We were never informed of the hotels decision not to honor the booking until I called to confirm a room. This is not the way I expected us to be treated after the years and vast monies spent. They would have had us travel from New York, via subways and Path train then decline our reservation. For the record, my wife had been taken to the hospital by ambulance during one stay several months ago. We are in our seventies. On my birthday, January 28th 2021 I was given a birthday cake from the hotel. That is the type of relationship I thought we had. I was certainly wrong. I would suggest if you are a person who experiences physical incidents, select another hotel. I found out the hard way, this hotel is simply greedy with no respect for their guests. As I have learned during my lifetime, if anyone doesn't want your business, someone else does.
