It is important to note that while the hotel aims to provide attentive service, as seen in positive comments about staff service, some negative reviews indicate inconsistencies, particularly regarding responsiveness to guest concerns like noise. While there is no full-service restaurant on-site beyond the breakfast area, the presence of a mini-fridge and microwave in each room provides flexibility for guests to manage their own meals. Some information suggests the availability of a fitness center, however, details are limited and it may not be a prominent feature.
It is crucial for guests to be aware of the varying experiences reported in customer reviews regarding room cleanliness and condition. Some reviews highlight issues such as stains on sheets and floors, and items found under mattresses. While the hotel states that bed sheets and towels are washed at high temperatures and that a professional cleaning service is used, prospective guests should consider these past comments.
The Rodeway Inn in Jersey City primarily appeals to local users searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" due to its affordability. It is typically positioned as a more economical choice compared to hotels in Manhattan or even some of the more upscale options in Jersey City and Hoboken. Potential guests should manage their expectations in line with the hotel's budget classification. While it offers practical amenities, it is not positioned as a luxury or full-service hotel. Get directionsAbsolutely worse place ever …. The rooms next to me were wreaking havoc at 2 am …. When called front desk he told me to move to another room….. how about telling the people to keep it down at 2 am because people are here to sleep.
Mar 27, 2025 · mehraj bhimaniThe sheets look like they were not cleaned from the previous stay(s). There were multiple stains and hairs on them. There were multiple stains on the floor. The remote to the tv was sticky and gross. There were multiple items under the mattress (toilet paper rolls, shampoo bottles, blood stains, food, etc). We didn't use the heat due to there being a lot of dust/debris and hair in the vent of the minisplit.
Nov 03, 2024 · alex safFirst, there was a background smell of cigarettes when entering the room. Then, the toilet sometimes didn't flush (not enough pressure). It was noisy with the busy road next to the hotel. At least there was free parking for our car since when we were going to NYC, and the air conditioning worked well. In short it was not very clean and I would not return to this hotel.
Jun 16, 2024 · Émilie MorissettePrice was about $140 a day, kinda expensive for the quality I got. Room was cramped with two beds and huge furniture, the layout was odd. Carpet needs to be replaced, so outdated and worn. Location was on a very busy highway, so horrible traffic but it is close to NY. Area wasn't that nice either, lots of garbage. Housekeeping did a good job though, they came when we had a problem with the toilet and needed more towels. They supplied shampoo and a bar or soap. Thankfully had a microwave and mini fridge.
