Stayed for two nights. I stayed on the first floor near the lobby. First night the front desk worker was playing music loud enough that it kept me up to the point I had to ask him to turn it which he did. Unfortunately this continued into the second night. They also spoke incredibly loud which I could also hear from room and was not a very restful stay. Additionally many of amenities it claims, such as “onsite restaurant,” “concierge service” and “complimentary bottle of water” are simply lies. I picked this hotel due its price point compared to surrounding hotel. The room was fine as is the location however you do get what you pay for. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Peachtree Suites Introduce

Within the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform category, Peachtree Suites presents itself as an accommodation option in Jersey City, New Jersey. Situated at 78 Cottage St, Jersey City, NJ 07306, USA, this hotel aims to cater to individuals seeking lodging in the vibrant Journal Square area. The hotel's location is a key factor for guests, providing access to local amenities and, notably, excellent public transportation links to Manhattan and other parts of New Jersey.

The hotel's phone number is (551) 200-9647, and its mobile number is +1 551-200-9647, serving as direct points of contact for inquiries and reservations. The address places Peachtree Suites in an urban setting, characteristic of Jersey City's dense and bustling neighborhoods. Cottage Street itself is likely a more residential or mixed-use street, potentially offering a somewhat quieter atmosphere compared to major avenues, but still within the reach of urban activity.

Environment: Urban Setting with Convenient Access

Peachtree Suites is located in a dynamic part of Jersey City, specifically near the Journal Square neighborhood. This area is a significant transportation hub and a melting pot of cultures, offering a variety of dining options, local businesses, and community spaces. Based on customer reviews, a significant environmental factor is the proximity to a PATH station, which is a major advantage for guests intending to travel to New York City. This allows for convenient and relatively quick commutes, making the hotel's location appealing for those on business or leisure trips to the greater New York metropolitan area. Furthermore, there is a "great little cafe right next door," which can be a valuable amenity for guests seeking immediate access to food and beverages.

However, it is crucial to note that the immediate environment, according to recent customer feedback, includes active construction directly across the street. This construction project involves a building that has been "completely gutted down to the concrete floors and main support pillars," with "half the street blocked off" and periodic full street closures due to construction activity. This ongoing construction is a significant environmental factor that can impact noise levels, pedestrian access, and the overall tranquility of the surroundings, potentially affecting the guest experience. The presence of such a large-scale project indicates that the immediate vicinity is undergoing change and development, which can contribute to noise and logistical challenges for guests.

Services: Reported Offerings Versus Guest Experiences

The services offered by Peachtree Suites, as perceived by guests, appear to be a point of inconsistency. The hotel claims to provide amenities such as an "onsite restaurant," "concierge service," and "complimentary bottle of water." However, multiple customer reviews explicitly state that these claimed amenities are "simply lies," indicating that they were not available or provided during their stay. This discrepancy between advertised services and actual provision is a critical aspect for potential guests to consider.

On the positive side, customer feedback generally praises the staff, describing them as "always friendly and courteous." This aspect of service, where direct human interaction is involved, seems to be a consistent strong point for the hotel. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connectivity is reported to have worked "well enough," with no issues, which is an essential service for modern travelers.

However, other service-related issues have been reported. One guest experienced a ceiling leak in their shower and, despite reporting it to staff, was not moved to another room due to the hotel being fully booked. While a discount was promised, the guest had "yet to hear anything about that" after checking out. Another significant service concern pertains to noise management. Guests reported loud music and partying from neighboring rooms continuing late into the night (11 pm - 4 am), with attempts to contact the front desk or a posted number proving unsuccessful due to staff absence or unresponsiveness. This suggests a potential lack of effective night-time management or insufficient measures to ensure guest comfort and quiet enjoyment.

Features: Room Basics and Location Advantages

The core features of Peachtree Suites appear to be its room accommodations and its strategic location. The rooms themselves are described as "fine" by one reviewer, suggesting they meet basic functional requirements. As a "Suites" property, it implies that the rooms may offer more space or separate living areas than a standard hotel room, though specific details on room layouts are not provided. The Wi-Fi service is a functional feature that supports guest connectivity.

A major feature is undeniably its proximity to the PATH station, which significantly enhances its appeal for travelers relying on public transport for access to New York City. The presence of a cafe next door is also a convenient feature for quick meals or coffee. However, a notable missing feature, contrary to some potential expectations or indirect claims, is parking. Guests have reported that there is "no parking" available, not even for loading or unloading, with staff reportedly advising guests to "block the street" for this purpose. This lack of dedicated parking is a significant consideration for guests traveling with vehicles.

Furthermore, the hotel's price point is highlighted as a key feature, with one reviewer explicitly choosing it "due its price point compared to surrounding hotel." This suggests that Peachtree Suites positions itself as a budget-friendly option, where guests "do get what you pay for."

Promotional Information and Guest Expectations

Based on the available information and customer feedback, Peachtree Suites likely promotes itself on its affordability and its prime location with excellent access to public transportation, particularly the PATH train for New York City commuters. For local users searching "Hotels Near Of Me," the hotel might appeal to those seeking a cost-effective stay in Jersey City with convenient city access.

However, it is crucial for potential guests to align their expectations with the actual experiences reported by previous visitors. While the price might be attractive, the trade-offs include potentially unreliable advertised amenities, noise disturbances from other guests, and the absence of on-site parking. The ongoing construction nearby is also a significant external factor that should be considered when evaluating the overall environment and potential for disruption. Guests should be prepared for a more basic experience, focusing on the core utility of a place to sleep with good transport links, rather than expecting a full-service hotel experience with all advertised amenities readily available. Direct contact with the hotel at (551) 200-9647 or +1 551-200-9647 is advisable to confirm current services and discuss any concerns prior to booking.

In conclusion, Peachtree Suites offers a budget-conscious option in a highly accessible part of Jersey City, with friendly staff and functional Wi-Fi. However, prospective guests should be fully aware of the discrepancies in advertised amenities, the challenges posed by nearby construction, the lack of on-site parking, and the potential for noise disturbances, as these factors significantly shape the overall guest experience.

PATH station nearby so easy to get into the city and a great little cafe right next door. The staff was always friendly and courteous. The WiFi worked well enough, never had any issues. We had a leak in the ceiling of our shower. Reported it to the staff, said they would let maintenance know but we could not be moved to another room because hotel was fully booked. However, I was told they'd give us a discount. When checking out, different person at front desk, so I mentioned the leak again, same response basically and that I'd be contacted by email regarding the discount/ refund... have yet to hear anything about that.... A recent review mentioned construction nearby and the owner replied "there is no active construction nearby." That's a flat out lie from the owner or they haven't been there in awhile because the building right across the street is completely gutted down to the concrete floors and main support pillars. Half the street is blocked off for the construction project... and periodically they block off the street entirely due to construction activity. I don't what they're talking about saying they have parking... there is no parking... not even to load/unload your stuff unless you block the street... that's what the staff told us to do. I saved the best for last... the people in the room right next to us partied from 11pm - 4am... load music, dancing, hootin' and hollering, non-stop. I went down to the front desk a little after midnight but no one around. Called the number they have posted there several times but no answer. I heard, throughout the time they were partying, other guests banging on the walls but it was totally ignored. I just read another review about people partying all night. They know there's nothing you can do about it as it's up to the staff/ management... and if the staff/ management isn't around, too bad for you. I really wanted to like this place... it has so much potential. However, for the reasons mentioned above, I cannot recommend it.

THIS IS NOT A SMEAR CAMPAIGN. I stayed here in February and had a really frustrating experience. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and the hygiene was pretty gross—quilts didn’t even have covers. On top of that, there was constant construction, so it was impossible to get any peace and quiet. They also gave completely misleading information about the bed size and parking. In reality, they only have two parking spots, and they’re always booked, so good luck with that. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again. Also many websites such as tripadvisor.ca have terrible reviews about this place so this is definitely not a one-off. Reply: The staff isn't at the reception majority of the time so it's not shocking that they don't recollect talking to me. If they were at the reception, I would bring it up to them but they were always away. There is construction right outside of Peachtree. If I am wrong, I would love for the hotel management to upload recent pictures proving that there is in fact no construction. I was also informed by Danny and Nick that there are only two parking spots shared between Appletree (the suites next to Peachtree) and Peachtree, both of which were already booked for all the days I was residing at the hotel. If the information I received was inaccurate, that’s on the management, not me.

I don't know where to start. Every interaction I've had with the staff here has been infuriating. It took me four business days to get a hold of them on the phone. The staff member I talked to, Patrick, mumbled the whole time and lacked basic knowledge that would be expected of an employee. He seemed to lack any interest in his job. They didn't keep track of any of my previous communications I had with them, and Patrick didn't follow through on any of items he said he would such as sending me some additional information. Weeks after I visited their office, they sent me a random follow-up text as if I was a completely new customer. The management and employees of this place are severely lacking competence. To clarify for the owners: I interacted with the staff at Appletree suites right next door. The are the same company, sharing a doorman, offices, and management. Patrick, the leasing agent at Appletree suites, came out of the peachtree suites hotel when I met him for a tour.

Can I leave no stars?I have to agree about lack of cleanliness, present construction and lack of parking. We stayed here this weekend, no place to even unload car. Room has a couch that is so dirty that we put a comforter over it as a “protective barrier”. Minimal kitchen utensils. There’s an oven but no cookie sheet or ovenware Ceiling in bathroom leaked.. When we asked to change rooms were told it was completely booked, but would be given a discount at check out. At check out were told that management wasn’t there and we would be contacted regarding discount. Well still waiting….This place was a gem 2 years ago when my mom stayed here. Now it’s run down due to lack of maintainence. They allow parties to go on with loud music and dancing until 4 am. We will not be coming back:(
