I travel for work a lot and the room here was gorgeous. The staff was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was great with a huge selection. If I get a chance to go back for work or my family this is where we will be staying! There's plenty to do in the area and Niagara falls is about a 20 minute ride away. Don't sleep on this one!

However, it is crucial to address a significant concern raised in a recent review regarding an overbooking situation involving an accessible room. A guest reported that the hotel "decided to overbook and is making a man in a wheelchair (due to a double amputee) leave for someone else to use the handicap room." This incident, if accurately described, represents a serious breach of standard hospitality practices and potential violation of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) regulations, which aim to ensure equal access and accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Such situations can severely impact a guest's well-being and trust in a hotel. While other reviews laud the staff, this particular account highlights a critical inconsistency in service and adherence to guest needs, especially for those requiring specific accessible accommodations. Marriott International has faced past legal actions regarding ADA compliance in reservations, underscoring the importance of this issue.

The hotel also offers accessible rooms with features like roll-in showers or mobility accessible tubs, accessible vanities, grab rails, and visual/auditory alarms to accommodate guests with disabilities. Free wired and wireless internet access is available in all rooms and public areas. For recreation, the hotel boasts an indoor saline pool and a 24-hour fitness center equipped with free weights, elliptical machines, exercise bikes, and treadmills. While some guests have noted the pool can be "very cold," it remains a valuable amenity for those looking to exercise or relax. Additionally, the hotel provides a convenience store (Market) on-site for quick snacks and essentials.

The Peace Bridge, connecting Buffalo to Ontario, Canada, is less than two miles away, facilitating cross-border travel.
For leisure, guests can reach Niagara Falls, one of the world's most famous natural wonders, in "about a 20-minute ride away," making the hotel a convenient base for exploring the falls. Other nearby attractions include the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site (a minute's walk), the Buffalo Zoo, and the Buffalo Museum of Science. The Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) is within a reasonable driving distance, and the hotel offers complimentary on-site self-parking, including wheelchair-accessible and van parking, which is a significant advantage in a downtown location. As a Marriott property, it participates in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program, allowing guests to earn and redeem points, and potentially access exclusive member benefits. Mar 30, 2025 · Matty ThrashCan anyone offer any advice. I had a very good experience here until the hotel decided to overbook and is making a man in a wheelchair (due to a double amputee) leave for someone else to use the handicap room. I asked them for advice on how I could help him move his stuff and figure out a vehicle to transport him quickly. He was supposed to have the room until Thursday. He was threatened with the police showing up at noon. Please any advice would help because we have exhausted all avenues. He has no family and friends here and extended his stay so he could get into his apartment that is handicap capable. Please help with any advice
Apr 28, 2025 · Chelsea RorickMajor problem with room is the sofa bed which is lumpy and hard making it difficult to sleep. Also beware — rates get jacked up majorly when there is a Bills home game. Went from about $200 to $500. Just checked the website and there’s a game today and now it’s over $600. Jan. 15 Just read the manager’s response on Trip Advisor. NO I was not given accurate pricing in an email. See photo
Jan 15, 2025 · Erin ODonnellEverything about this place is wonderful! The manager, Robert, goes out of his way to greet you with a smile and make sure that your stay is enjoyable.
May 13, 2025 · Lysa BrewsterContemporary clean hotel walking distance to several medical facilities and great local dining establishments. Would be 5 star but for conflicting hours that the bar was open (one set of hours on website, different hours posted in the elevator, different hours quoted at check in, bar actually closed for new years day - even though the bar open sign was lit.)
