We stayed as a family of five in June 2025. The staff was helpful and courteous - even moving outdoor umbrellas closer to the pool lounge chairs as needed. The suites are brand new - modern and clean. We love the breakfast, eliminating expense for that meal. We were surprised how close the hotel is to Dollywood and all the attractions while not being on the main strip. I love that! A much quieter experience. Will stay here again.

For us Tennesseans planning a trip to Pigeon Forge, the **Residence Inn Pigeon Forge** stands out as an exceptionally suitable choice, especially for families or anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient extended stay. The concept of "home away from home" truly resonates here, thanks to the spacious, modern, and notably clean suites, each equipped with a full kitchen. Imagine preparing your own breakfast before heading out to Dollywood, or having leftovers from a fantastic Pigeon Forge restaurant conveniently stored and reheated.

Beyond the practicalities, the hotel's location is a significant draw. Being close to major attractions like Dollywood and the Cal Ripken Experience, yet set back from the main Parkway on Teaster Lane, provides the best of both worlds: easy access to fun combined with a quieter, more relaxing environment for unwinding. For those of us attending baseball tournaments at the Ripken Experience, the convenience of being "next door" is unparalleled. The complimentary hot breakfast is another welcome perk that adds value and streamlines your morning routine.

While every hotel might have individual staff experiences (as noted in one review, which hopefully management addresses), the overall sentiment from guests points to a helpful and courteous team dedicated to ensuring a pleasant stay. The added amenities like the seasonal outdoor pool, fitness center, and even the on-site dog park for our furry family members, further enhance its appeal. For a comfortable, flexible, and value-packed stay that truly understands the needs of families and longer visits, the **Residence Inn Pigeon Forge** offers a compelling option for your next exploration of our beautiful Smoky Mountain region.

We stayed at this hotel for a baseball tournament and chose it because of its convenient location next to the fields, the complimentary breakfast, and the in-room kitchenettes. The property itself was clean and clearly geared toward families visiting for the Ripken baseball experience. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by one front desk staff member, Jeanine, whose behavior significantly impacted our stay. On both evenings, during a rainstorm, families gathered in the lobby for dinner, conversation, and to watch the baseball game on TV. The kids were quietly playing a card game and laughing, while the adults were cheering occasionally for the team on screen—nothing out of the ordinary for a family-oriented hotel. However, Jeanine repeatedly yelled at the children and adults, claiming we were being disruptive, despite everyone using normal indoor voices and no one being intoxicated, hostile, or inappropriate. Shockingly, she escalated the situation by calling the police at 6 p.m. The officers found no issues and took no action, as there was no disorderly conduct of any kind. I have never been spoken to so disrespectfully by a hotel staff member. It was upsetting and unnecessary. I hope hotel management takes this complaint seriously and addresses her behavior through appropriate corrective action. Residence Inn should take accountability for the conduct of its employees and ensure that guests—especially families—are treated with respect. This hotel is likely to be full this summer with teams and families coming for tournaments. We spent a significant amount to stay next to the fields, and instead of feeling welcomed, we were made to feel uncomfortable and on edge. Sadly, we will not be returning.

We stayed here this past July after the vacation rental house we reserved fell through. This place was amazing for the three of us. The staff was helpful in accommodating us after the rental fell through at the last minute. We will be staying here again. The location is perfect for Dollywood and The Island. The breakfast was great. The room was clean and plenty of room for the three of us to have our own space. We were even able to see the fireworks for the 4th. We will be coming back this spring and we plan on staying here then!!

We stayed at this hotel for a baseball tournament and chose it for its convenient location next to the fields, the complimentary breakfast, and the in-room kitchenettes. The property itself was clean and clearly geared toward families visiting for the Ripken baseball experience. Unfortunately, our experience was completely overshadowed by one front desk staff member, Janine, whose behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional. On both evenings—during a rainstorm—families gathered in the lobby to eat dinner, watch the game, and let the kids quietly play cards. Everyone was using normal indoor voices, and no one was acting out of line or being disruptive. Despite this, Janine continuously yelled at the kids and adults, claiming we were being too loud. She even threatened to call the police. Due to her ongoing harassment of the children and the uncomfortable, escalating nature of her behavior, I made the decision to call the police myself. When officers arrived, they found nothing wrong with the parents or children and took no action against anyone in our group. Instead, they addressed Janine directly, asking her to stop harassing the children and to speak with the parents if she had any concerns. It was clear to them—and to all of us—that the situation was being blown out of proportion by her. My husband spoke with the office manager on the phone after Janine called him, and still, nothing was done. Shockingly, Janine was not only allowed to remain at work that night but returned the next day and continued pointing at and targeting me and my children, making us feel extremely uncomfortable. Management again failed to act. What makes this all the more disappointing is that every other employee we encountered during our stay was friendly and welcoming. But one person’s actions and the hotel’s refusal to step in made our entire experience negative. Because of this, I will not be staying here again and absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I’ll also be sharing our experience on the baseball pages and groups I’m part of to warn other teams planning to travel here in the coming weeks. Families spending a lot of money to stay near the fields should feel safe, respected, and valued—not intimidated and ignored. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and holds their staff to higher standards moving forward.

The rooms are beautiful, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style, making it feel like a home away from home. The property is gorgeous, with well-maintained grounds and stunning mountain views. Whether you are in town for a relaxing getaway or an adventurous trip, this hotel is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!
