The Roosevelt Inn, situated at 7600 Roosevelt Blvd #1, Philadelphia, PA 19152, USA, is a lodging option frequently appearing in "Hotels Near Of Me" searches. This introduction aims to provide a comprehensive, objective overview of what local users and travelers might expect from this establishment, integrating information about its environment, typical services, general features, and important considerations derived from various public reviews. It is crucial to note that guest experiences, as reflected in available feedback, vary significantly, and this introduction synthesizes these perspectives to offer a balanced view.
The Roosevelt Inn is strategically located directly on Roosevelt Boulevard (US Route 1), a major and extensive arterial road traversing Philadelphia. This placement offers high visibility and direct access for guests traveling by car, which is a significant advantage for those seeking convenience and ease of navigation. The area around 7600 Roosevelt Boulevard is characteristic of a bustling urban and suburban corridor in Northeast Philadelphia. This means guests can expect a mix of commercial enterprises, including various retail outlets, shopping centers like Roosevelt Mall and Bustleton Square Plaza, and a wide array of dining options, from fast-food establishments to casual restaurants and local eateries. Grocery stores and other essential services are also readily available, catering to the immediate needs of travelers.
While Roosevelt Boulevard is a major transportation artery, the immediate environment of the hotel, like many properties along such roads, might be characterized by vehicular noise. However, its accessibility connects guests to broader Northeast Philadelphia. The area offers several parks and green spaces within a reasonable driving distance, such as Pennypack Park, providing opportunities for outdoor recreation. Furthermore, the hotel's location offers proximity to various community amenities and institutions. It is within a manageable distance to educational institutions like Holy Family University and Salus University, and provides access to major highways like the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-95, facilitating travel to other parts of Philadelphia, Bucks County, and New Jersey attractions like Sesame Place. Public transportation, primarily SEPTA bus routes along Roosevelt Boulevard, offers connections to the wider city network, although reaching downtown Philadelphia or major tourist attractions might require transfers and a longer travel time.

It is important to acknowledge that while these services are listed, the actual guest experience regarding their quality and consistency appears to be highly varied, as detailed in the review section below. It is critical to address the direct feedback from customers regarding the condition and cleanliness of the rooms. Reviews frequently mention concerns such as:
For guests utilizing "Hotels Near Of Me" platforms, the Roosevelt Inn is likely positioned as a budget-friendly option due to its potentially lower price point compared to other Philadelphia hotels. Promotional language might emphasize its convenient location on Roosevelt Boulevard and easy access to local attractions and highways. The hotel's own website highlights features like free WiFi, free parking, and a 24-hour front desk, along with a "safe environment" due to its camera system and security measures.
However, prospective guests are strongly advised to carefully consider the extensive and highly negative customer reviews available online. The reviews provided in the prompt, along with numerous others found through public searches, describe severe issues with cleanliness, pest infestations (roaches, bedbugs, rats), maintenance, and perceived safety concerns related to the environment. The repeated warnings from past guests to "Don't just don't" and "I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to nobody! It’s very disgusted" cannot be overlooked.
While the tempting price might be a draw, guests should weigh this against the consistent reports of unsatisfactory conditions and a potentially distressing stay. For those prioritizing cleanliness, comfort, and a pest-free environment, it would be prudent to exercise extreme caution and consider alternative accommodations in the Philadelphia area, even if they come at a higher cost. Direct contact with the hotel at (215) 338-7600 or +1 215-338-7600 might offer the opportunity to inquire about recent renovations or specific room conditions, but ultimately, past guest experiences offer a strong indication of the current state of the property. For any user considering the Roosevelt Inn via a "Hotels Near Of Me" search, thorough research into recent guest feedback is paramount to setting realistic expectations.

May 20, 2025 · Adroit bearIt was infested with roaches, it was everywhere. I went to this hotel back in 2024 with my bestie, her sister, and her sister bestie. Basically I go in the bathroom and a roach was dead laying in the tub. Then as you looking at the walls where the tv is at, it was roaches, all on the walls. It was disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to nobody! It’s very disgusted.

Feb 22, 2025 · Avia VazquezMy husband and I were passing through Philadelphia so we decided to get a room at this hotel because the facade of the building looked clean on the outside, but inside it was horrible, everything was very dirty and the sheets and blankets were all burning from cigarettes, the carpet was very dirty, and the worst was yet to come when we were woken up by a mouse on the table and since then we haven't slept anymore, this was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life and on top of that the price is very high for the state the environment was in.
