San Carlos Hotel

I could not have picked a better hotel than the San Carlos for our 1st trip to New York. I did a lot of research before booking and I can honestly say that everyone at the San Carlos helped make our Christmas in New York so memorable. The tone was set when we first arrived at check in and were greeted by Carlos, who is amazing by the way and so helpful. The bellman wasn’t there when we arrived as we arrived later than we originally anticipated but Carlos helped us with our bags and brought them to our room. Carlos and another lady up front advised of restaurants to try, alternatives to overcrowded attractions as well as what stop to get off at on the subway. You hear stories of people being rude in New York but honestly everywhere we went people were so friendly. My family and I had the best Christmas and it all started with staying at this amazing hotel. Also they offer a service where they’ll hold your bags if you check out but do not want to leave so early. Their wonderful bellman is over this service and he did a fantastic job as well as loading our SUV when we left with our luggage. All in all you can’t go wrong staying here. We will be back for sure. I recently stayed at San Carlos Hotel and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The front desk staff made check-in seamless, and we felt welcomed right away. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, spacious, and has very clean rooms. The ladies at the front were so kind and accommodating. They offered a great crib and always acknowledged us every time we walked in and asked how they could help. Bobby was great and had such a sweet spirit and let us know of their car services to the airport, which went seamlessly. What truly stood out was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. Whether it was recommending local attractions, providing extra towels, or offering assistance with transportation, the staff was always eager to help and made me feel valued

Excellent location, great value for money. Rooms are clean and service was top notch. The hotel is not particularly new or renovated but there was full peace of mind with cleanliness of the hotel. The gym is a little small and outdated but will do the trick for a few days of travel.

4 stars for 4 reasons 1. It’s not bad for what you pay and considering the location you’re in. Midtown NY. The room had everything we could possibly need to have a good night sleep. Beds were comfortable and cozy. 2. The price per night was around 432.65 per night, not terrible considering the awesome location we were in. Time square walk around 12mins or so. 3. Customer service was good and friendly staff. 4. Clean, organized and spacious bedroom. Minus one star because the rooms are super old school but well maintained.

Perfectly located NY hotel, close to subway stations. The room was very spacious with air-conditioning, a large bathroom and a very comfy bed. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Manhattan!
