We stayed at the location on 50th and 3rd ave. I can’t say enough about this hotel. My first time visiting NY and my stay was all so pleasant. We had five of us in a junior suite which was spacious and a great rate. They even have a monthly payment plan as well. The most courteous and accommodating employees. The doormen were extremely friendly and courteous as well as the front desk. When we needed anything within 10 minutes housekeeping was knocking at the door. The location was wonderful in walking distance to most places we visited. A message to Romeo one of our doormen, Romeo when you and your wife are ready to visit New Orleans, feel free to contact me at my email. I will be happy to give you the information you need. New Orleans is a must! You will finally get to eat Gumbo. Betty Thompson and the Carter family.

Mar 14, 2025 · Betty ThompsonWe booked a room with 2 queen beds but the so called “queen” beds were actually double beds! So beware of that. The rooms were pretty outdated and bathrooms had fixtures falling off, paint peeling off..not the quality we’d expect for a 4 star hotel and the price we paid! On one of the days there was construction that started at 7:30 am right above our room with no intimidation whatsoever! On calling the front desk all we got in response was “oh they should not have started until 9 am, let me text them ” seriously?! The loud banging and noise continued - we finally left the room by 11am! We were there with family on a vacation and would have appreciated a quiet good sleep or at least some advance notification! Location is good but never going back to this hotel!
Mar 30, 2025 · Michelle M-JosephI really want to love this hotel, but the cleanliness is very disappointing! After comparing multiple hotels nearby, we’ve chosen Sonesta because of the spaciousness of the room. We have the 1602 junior suite. Very spacious, my kids slept on the sofa bed while my husband and I each occupied one bed. we got out room at 10pm. we checked in at 2pm but it wasn’t ready until we arrived and they were supposed to text us when room is read y. The room is old and the kiddos tripped few times from the wire outside of the bathroom. The bathroom outlets were about to fall apart. The room is very filthy. After woke up from the first night, the sun reflected into the room. You can see the tables were covered with dusts. When we returned back to the hotel, my hair from the morning in the bathroom was still on the floor. They only made up the bed no cleaning the floor. We are here for spring break, the rate per night is not cheap! It was appx 450 per night and for the quality very disappointed. Only thing I have to compliment is the doorman Sammy! Super nice and helpful
Mar 22, 2025 · Tracy HuangThe location is very convenient to many subway lines while still being walkable to Times Square. We got a room to sleep 5 and it was very spacious. Having the small kitchenette was clutch for hungry kids. While I could hear other rooms while in the hallway in our room we couldn't hear the neighbors at all. The room was so well sound insulated. The staff was very responsive to any issue like extra towels or needing to stay an extra day. Definitely would stay again.
Jan 10, 2025 · Troy SchmidtI stay here every year for weeks at a time. When you are here, you are family. The doorman start off your experience with a warm friendly smile which continues with the entire staff. Rooms are elegant and spacious. Great videos of the city in this perfect location for travel and sight seeing. Breakfast is delicious (be sure to try the artisanal yogurts). The gym is small but has all the machines you need and open 24/7. Valet parking is convenient and fairly priced. Laundry on site as well. Looking forward to coming back again!
