The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection

I’m giving this hotel 5 stars for its prime location—right next to Grand Central and within walking distance of many great attractions. Emily at the concierge desk was especially helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with rooms serviced daily. The only downside was the small room size and beds, but that's to be expected in NYC. Unless you have a bigger budget, space can be a bit tight. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Our stay was extremely pleasant. Everything was clean, we felt very welcomed and taken care of. Great location near lots of restaurants and walking distance from Grand Central Station. The complementary waters from the front desk were very considerate and convenient. The beds were extremely soft and comfortable and we loved the view of the city from our window. The only thing I wish was different is I wish we had a microwave and fridge in our room. I wanted to give a special shout out to the associates that attended to us right outside the building and with checking our bags - Kevin and Adonis. Kevin was extremely attentive, offered to carry our bags and hold the door for us every time we entered or left the building, and did it all with a smile. He also was great with helping with directions, offering to find us a cab, and overall was a very kind and welcoming person and made sure we had a great stay. Adonis was also very helpful with retrieving our checked bags, kind and timely. It’s people like Kevin and Adonis that make us want to return! Thank you both sincerely, we look forward to our future stays at the Lexington Hotel.

Overall a good stay. It’s a good location to stay in Manhattan, central with everything accessible. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Only negative is the hotel needs a bit of an upgrade, it has become slightly dated.

I have been traveling to this NY area for year. This was my first time staying in this hotel and I will think twice before booking again. I will list the reasons: 1.- I got a package delivered, they keep all packages in a package room, that is served by a separate employee. The package room works from 9 to 5 on week days. I tried 4 times to get my package and I was never able to get it. The last answer from the reception was: talk to the manager to see if she could get it for you. 2.- Hotel doesn’t have a key security system to access the room floors. 3.- pillows are flat, it’s basically a decoration. 4.- Toilet needs extra work to flush. 5.- AC control in the room needs extra love. 6.- the hotel charges 3 dollars per bag to store it while waiting to get your room or after check out. Payment is only cash. I have stayed in multiple hotels in NY: this service is complementary. The house keeping team was really nice and attentive, the room was neat and clean. Kudos to them.

I’ve stayed in this hotel three times and I’ve given it a fair chance. This time will be the absolute last. As a Bonvoy member this place is truly not up to what it should be. Especially considered what it costs to stay here. Between the inability to talk to the front desk from your room or from your phone…the tiny rooms, the outdated air conditioning the thin pillows…charging you 3 dollars a bag to hold them for a few hours. Never allowing check ins earlier than 4. They don’t allow you to touch the bag carts they “have to do it”…in other words they want more money from you. The staff is snooty and doesn’t seem to want to accommodate for anything. No refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. The bathroom is so small no more than one person can be in there at a time. I understand that New York can be busy and I would be a little bit more lenient if it was during Christmas time or a busy season but we stayed in march and check in lines were crazy long…just found this experience not great for the third time. Only gave it a fighting chance due to the location but I will be foregoing that for some place better next time
