Titanium elite life member here with over 600 nights in marriotts since 2021. Sheraton is one of the oldest Marriott properties (1960s). Taking that into consideration, they’re all overdue for an overhaul. The rooms are decently clean (for the price and city) - there are several other properties in Baltimore that are of the same quality. Very friendly staff. Jun 15, 2025 · Tyler YzaguirreLet’s start with the good: The staff is kind and helpful and the views from the 12th floor are excellent. The bad: This hotel is very, very dirty. It did not seem like a Sheraton, rather a low-budget motel. Dust filled vent in the shower, mysterious stain on the bedposts, stains everywhere… wallpaper peeling, carpet genuinely dirty. I’m usually a loyal Marriott traveler, but will definitely not trust the brand like I have in the past after this stay.
Apr 25, 2025 · Katelyn CI would not recommend the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel. Check-in seemed friendly enough, but the experience quickly went downhill. The rooms are a huge letdown—dingy walls, stained carpets, and outdated furniture give everything a run-down feel. They also don’t clean linens daily, citing "sustainability," which felt more like an excuse than a policy rooted in care or comfort. The worst part—and the reason I had to leave early—was that my room had a rat. Yes, a rat. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and watched it dart from under my bed and slip under the adjoining door. It was horrifying. The staff did offer to comp my full bill, which I appreciated, but I still had two more nights left in my stay and no longer felt safe remaining on the property. The alternative hotel they offered across the street looked equally grimy. I ended up leaving altogether and staying with a relative in Waldorf—an hour away from Baltimore—because I had a rental car. Absolutely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one with the Sheraton name. Rats carry hantavirus and other diseases. Proceed with caution.
Apr 17, 2025 · Allissa RichardsonConsidering that this Sheraton is in such a prime location, they failed to meet my expectations. The 6th floor, where my room was located, smelled like cigarettes in the hallway. My room had an outdated sink that leaked if the faucets were turned too far. TV's are also outdated and do not offer internet tv options. We tried to call the front desk several times (from the room) to report the leaky sink and it kept going to voicemail. I personally prefer to stay at the other Marriott brands in Baltimore.
Jun 09, 2025 · Cathy DOther critical reviews were accurate. We had no internet at all for the duration of our stay. (Wireless worked in lobby, but not in our room. We asked for help on the first day, but never improved.) The rooms are very outdated, dark, poorly ventilated, and dingy. Plumbing is iffy. (Terrible water pressure, toilet very slow to flush, faucet leaked horribly, and we were afraid to sit on the toilet for fear it would come unattached from the floor. Also no vent.) Walls are thin enough to hear neighbors clearing their throats. Not enough light in the rooms. A/C worked...sort of. TV didn't show what was on the guide, and wouldn't accept an HDMI in. Beds are small. Pillows are very hard/overstuffed and uncomfortable. The plus side is the location is convenient to the convention center, and the staff were trying their best. Fitness room is decent.
