Loved the stay and wish I could give it 5 stars. The good: 1. Incredible location 2. Very friendly staff 3. Great hot tub and beautiful patio with lots of fun spots to sit 4. TV had streaming capabilities, which was appreciated 5. Great shower 6. Free parking, but quite limited, we got the last spot. The bad: 1. The complimentary breakfast should be renamed a continental breakfast. The eggs were watery and tasted like a mix and were inedible. No fresh breads, etc. The pastries were fresh and delicious, but this was not enough. It is not what we have come to expect from complimentary breakfasts in Ptown. The pancakes were dry, and there was only fake maple syrup. We were so excited for a delicious hot breakfast and then had to instead go out to find something each morning. 2. The mattress was a bit sinky and not great. The room was overall clean, but we did bump into a cobweb that a more thorough cleaning would have not missed Neutral: 1. Wine and cheese was a nice perk but on the minimal side compared to some other wine and cheese hours in town. Even the salsa mentioned on the website was not offered. 2. I am certainly not taking off points for no bidet, as it is still hard to find at lodgings in the US, but at this point, they are inexpensive and becoming a common fixture in people's homes. It would be nice to see this.

The centerpiece of the outdoor space is the award-winning heated infinity pool, a truly tranquil spot for relaxation and enjoyment, complemented by a large 12-person in-ground hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. There's also a poolside bar, the Shipwreck Lounge, enhancing the social atmosphere. The guesthouse's location is considered incredible, being just steps away from the bustling Commercial Street. This allows guests easy access to Provincetown's vibrant array of shops, restaurants, art galleries, and nightlife, while the guesthouse itself provides a peaceful retreat. The front desk operates 24/7, ensuring assistance is always available, and contactless check-out is offered for convenience. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. While some guests have found aspects of the hot breakfast, such as the eggs and pancakes, to be underwhelming or "inedible," the fresh pastries are consistently praised. The guesthouse also offers a complimentary "wine and cheese" reception (often referred to as happy hour) in the evenings, which is a nice perk for socializing, though some guests find it minimal compared to other offerings in town. For connectivity, free high-speed Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and public areas. Free self-parking is offered on-site, though it is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with no parking reservations accepted. Off-site parking is also available for a daily fee. The guesthouse provides a free beach shuttle, making access to the sandy shores convenient. Other services include luggage storage, laundry facilities, a concierge service, and assistance with arranging activities like hiking/biking trails, golf, canoeing, and fishing. The features of The Brass Key Guesthouse are designed for comfort, entertainment, and a touch of indulgence. The 43 individually decorated rooms are equipped with premium bedding, air conditioning, and soundproofing for a restful night's sleep. While some guests have noted mattresses can be "a bit sinky," generally the rooms are described as comfortable and clean. Each room includes a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, and bathrobes, and many feature rainfall showers. In-room amenities typically include a refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, in-room safe, iron/ironing board, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels and streaming capabilities, allowing guests to enjoy their favorite content. Some rooms may also offer a balcony or terrace with outdoor views, including pool views or garden views, while others provide window screens. Beyond the rooms, the guesthouse offers a range of recreational facilities. The heated infinity pool and the large hot tub are central attractions. The Shipwreck Lounge, a full cocktail bar, provides a vibrant social hub, open daily from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The guesthouse also features a garden, terrace, and picnic area, providing ample outdoor spaces. For entertainment, there's a nightclub on-site, adding to the lively atmosphere. For those seeking quiet time, a library of DVDs is available. The property is smoke-free throughout, and safety features include carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and first aid kits. The guesthouse is also recognized for its LGBTQ+ friendly environment, emphasizing a fun-loving and free-spirited vibe.

Regarding promotional information, The Brass Key Guesthouse frequently offers special deals and exclusive offers, particularly during off-peak seasons, to make stays more accessible and appealing. For example, past promotions have included "Save 20% this Spring!" for stays of at least two nights in April and May (excluding Memorial Day weekend) using a specific promo code, and "Fall Into Savings" with 20% off for stays between mid-September and late October. They also offer a "New England Resident Rate" providing a 25% discount for local residents with an advance purchase, non-refundable booking. A unique perk is the "Fast Ferry Discounts for Brass Key Guests," offering 20% off ferry tickets from Boston. Guests are always encouraged to check the official Brass Key Guesthouse website or contact them directly for the most current and comprehensive list of promotions, as these can change. While the "complimentary breakfast" has received mixed reviews, the overall experience, especially the prime location, friendly staff, and luxurious amenities like the pool and hot tub, are consistently highlighted in reviews, serving as a powerful testament to the guesthouse's appeal. It's important for potential guests to be aware that the property is adults-only and does not allow children under 21, and that pets are not permitted (service animals excepted). From the moment you're greeted at check in you know you're someplace special. The people, property, and rooms are everything you could ask for. We enjoyed the hot tub, hanging outside on the grounds, there are so many comfy places to chose from, complimentary breakfast, complimentary happy hour, and the bar. Being just steps away from Commercial St allowed us to enjoy shopping and going out for food and drinks. We can't wait to come back.

Ideal location for first visit to PTOWN before the season. Warm and wonderful service from Kevin, Patrick, and Andrea - very comfortable room (with working gas fireplace for those chilly, rainy May days.) Delicious breakfast, chats by the fire pit over happy hour with other guests, and a short walk to all F&B and attractions (plus easy onsite parking.) Don’t hesitate to book the Brass Key.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Brass Key for Halloween weekend with a good friend. What a beautiful property and wonderful staff! From check-in to check-out, the staff was amazing. I loved having breakfast available on property everyday and being able to walk out my door to soak in the hot tub. The room was beautiful and the location of the property to local events could not be beat. I can also not express my appreciation for Tyler, the owner enough. After throwing my back out in the travels to P-Town, he knew I was in pain which was limiting my ability to enjoy my vacation. He went above and beyond and used his network and brought a wheel chair to my room. If you get the chance, stay here!

Love, love love. The service and lodging is like home but better. We were greeted like old friends by Tyler and his staff. We had a mix up in our reservation and Tyler went out of his way to fix the problem and make our visit an absolute joy. Say hello to him when you check in.
