Great location and a lovely, clean little boutique hotel. I've stayed here with my cat a few times and they do not charge a pet fee and I was able to easily find street parking both times. Great walkable location, nice breakfast, complimentary wine hour at 5pm, nice staff, nice ambience in the lobby. There are a lot of international guests which is fun and the neighborhood is beautiful and full of embassies. Great price as well. This is my first choice for when I stay in DC and both Zelda and I look forward to returning to the Normandy Hotel.

I stayed here twice, the first time a few years ago when I first moved to DC. I had an absolutely superb experience both times, making me a loyal patron of this hotel. It’s a cozy, quiet, beautiful hideaway from the bustle of Adams Morgan. Staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. My room was refreshing and cool with strong a/c on a hot summer day. Beautiful modern bathrooms and a very cozy bed. Absolutely love this place and looking forward to staying again.

It was my first time staying in DC, and I stayed here for one night on my own before moving to another hotel for work. It was easy booking through a travel site. I'm a manager at another hotel and I know customer service. This hotel had greatbcusotmer service. The front desk agent was very pleasant and made check in very easy. Parking was a little weird as there is a small valet lot but was advised of on street parking. I asked if it was okay to park on the main road adjacent and was advised it was. I got a ticket the next morning during "rush hour." My mistake for not understanding the signs. FYI: Make sure you're parking on the road right in front of the front desk and not the main thoroughfare to the east. They had a complimentary wine social hour but I didn't partake. The hotel was very, very nice. It looked modern was some touches of old art-deco still thrown about (like the elevators). The room was cozy with a nice bed. As a two-pipe HVAC system, it's either hot air or cold air. It was fairly warm in the room when I got there, but with the cold January air, I was able to open the window for relief. A small, quiet hotel was lots of places to eat within a ten-minute walk.

We stayed at the Normandy for a school trip and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The front desk staff were super friendly and always went above and beyond. The general facility was really nice - the lobby/breakfast area was super cozy and just what we needed to unwind. The rooms were all clean and modern, albeit some were a tiny bit small. We would 100% recommend it to anyone staying in DC!
