Stayed here for 3 nights and had an overall positive experience. The staff working the desk were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean with a comfortable bed. I wish the pillows were a bit larger but not a huge deal. Pretty decent sized room with a large closet, bathroom, desk and fridge. The shower was a little finicky when it came to switching between shower heads but again that isn't a big issue. I liked that there was a window that opened in the washroom for some fresh morning air. Good location with only about a 10 minute walk to NJ Penn Station. We got lucky and our stay overlapped with the blooming of over a dozen cherry blossom trees across the street which was a nice experience. Reasonably priced. Didn't try the on-site restaurant but it was nice to have that as an option. Would stay here again.

However, many locals and visitors find the walk to Penn Station and around the immediate business district to be generally safe with typical city vigilance. It's important for guests to be aware that some bathroom doors may not lock, which has been a point of concern for some travelers, and this appears to be by design.

Apr 28, 2025 · Christine SaundersWe drove to the property and were greeted by a full parking lot and parking attendants trying to get us to "come back after 2 hours" until I spotted an empty spot myself and just parked the car there. Then after walking into the hotel the lady at the reception hit us with the most disgusted "yes" I have ever heard in my life, as if I asked for her kidney. No "hi", no "hello", no "how are you?". When I told her I am checking in, she scolded me for being there before the check-in time and asked me to come back after 3 PM. I was there at 2 PM, so not ridiculously early. Even if you really are at full occupancy, you can at least communicate the message in a polite and courteous manner? "You'll have to wait, but we'll see what you can do" or something of that manner? The bathroom doors do not lock and apparently that is by design - because who doesn't like people in your room walking into you showering or taking a dump? The room is full of bright white lights and feels like an ICU room - I do not know who had the bright idea (pun intended) of using all-white lights in the room. I would not pay even a fourth of what I paid per room. The area around is not exactly safe or the best either- we were here for 2 nights, and there were police cars on the same road on both nights. Absolutely avoid this hotel at all costs, even if you have to sleep in your car.
May 21, 2025 · Anshuman SuriOverall, I enjoyed my stay here. Airport Shuttle was fast. Staff were quick and helpful. My room was clean and spacious. Great location to Prudential Center. Only small negative was the thin walls so I was always hearing my neighbors chatting and their barking dog any time of the day.
Apr 07, 2025 · Griffin MostVery good hotel, located 25 minutes by train from Manhattan. Comfortable bed, spacious room. The reception was always available for any questions. Very friendly staff. It would just be helpful to know in advance that 25% of the booking amount is taken as a deposit until check-out. But overall, the hotel is highly recommended. Great value for money.
