The hardware is definitely excellent with good-sized rooms and ample amenities. It is close to a PATH station which makes Newark and beyond very accessible. Breakfast is also served and the selection is decent. The hotel doesn’t offer a regular shuttle. The shuttle is arranged based on booking and it didn’t arrive at all as per my booking. Jasmine Honey at the front desk wasn’t the friendliest. I wasn’t even asked whether I’ll be checking in despite standing at the front desk for some time. After the front desk attended to me, service was cold till they realised I am a Titanium member and the service attitude changed immediately. I was also there when the water supply was down which was a great inconvenience as I wanted to have a shower before heading out.

Element Harrison - Newark Introduce

Welcome to Element Harrison - Newark, a premier choice for those seeking comfortable and convenient accommodations in the greater Newark area. As a property featured within the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, Element Harrison - Newark is designed to cater to both short-term visits and extended stays, providing a home-away-from-home experience with a focus on wellness and sustainability. Located at 399 Somerset St, Harrison, NJ 07029, USA, this hotel offers easy access to major transportation hubs and local attractions, making it an excellent base for exploring the region.

The environment at Element Harrison - Newark is characterized by its modern design, natural light, and commitment to eco-friendly practices. From the moment you step into the lobby, you'll notice an inviting and refreshing atmosphere. The aesthetic is clean, contemporary, and thoughtfully designed to promote a sense of calm and productivity. Guests consistently praise the hotel's "excellent hardware," which translates to well-maintained facilities and a fresh, appealing ambiance. The common areas are spacious, providing ample room for guests to relax, work, or socialize. The overall design emphasizes sustainability, incorporating elements that reduce environmental impact without compromising on comfort or style. The hotel's location in Harrison, a vibrant and developing town adjacent to Newark, offers a dynamic urban environment while still providing a sense of community.

In terms of services, Element Harrison - Newark aims to provide a seamless and enjoyable stay for all guests. The front desk, reachable at (973) 484-1500 or +1 973-484-1500, is available to assist with inquiries and requests. Check-in, as noted by a guest, is often "smoother than I'd thought it would be," with associates described as "sweet" and thorough in breaking down all necessary information. Complimentary water bottles and apples are a thoughtful touch upon arrival. While some initial service experiences have been noted as "cold" by a Titanium member, a change in attitude upon status recognition suggests that the hotel aims to provide personalized service, especially for loyal guests. The hotel also offers room service, although one guest mentioned it took a "minute to know how to work the phone" to order. Free Wi-Fi is a standard offering, a significant advantage over hotels that charge a daily fee, ensuring guests can stay connected effortlessly.

One notable aspect of services that has received mixed feedback is the shuttle service. While the hotel does not offer a "regular shuttle," arrangements can be made based on booking. However, one customer reported that the shuttle "didn’t arrive at all as per my booking," which highlights a potential area for improvement in reliability. Despite this, the hotel's proximity to a PATH station is a significant advantage, making "Newark and beyond very accessible" without the need for a shuttle. This direct public transportation link is a major convenience for both business and leisure travelers looking to explore the wider New Jersey and New York City areas.

The features of Element Harrison - Newark truly set it apart, especially for those seeking an extended-stay option or a more independent travel experience. The rooms, particularly the 1-bedroom suites with 2 queen beds, are consistently described as "very modern and spacious." A key highlight is the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, dishes, utensils, dish detergent, coffee maker, fridge, and freezer. This feature is invaluable for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals, offering significant cost savings and dietary flexibility. The bathrooms are equally impressive, boasting a "walk-in shower and huge counter with a vanity mirror," providing a luxurious and functional space. Technology is integrated seamlessly, with TVs offering the option to sign into personal streaming accounts like YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon, and automatically logging out upon checkout for privacy – a well-received feature. The fitness center is consistently praised as "absolutely amazing" and conveniently located, with one guest noting it was on the same floor as their room.

Breakfast is another complimentary feature that adds value to the stay. While described as "decent" in selection, it provides a convenient and healthy start to the day, saving guests time and money on external dining. The presence of these amenities, particularly the full kitchen and fitness center, caters exceptionally well to the "Hotels Near Of Me" category for guests seeking more than just a basic room, whether for business trips, family vacations, or relocations.

Promotional information, while not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, can be inferred from the hotel's offerings. The emphasis on extended stays, modern amenities, and convenient location naturally appeals to a wide range of travelers. The "Hotels Near Of Me" platform category would highlight Element Harrison - Newark's value proposition for travelers seeking accessible and well-equipped accommodations in the immediate vicinity. For instance, business travelers attending conferences or working in Newark or New York City would appreciate the PATH station proximity and the ability to maintain their routine with in-room kitchens and a fitness center. Families would benefit from the spacious suites, separate living areas, and the convenience of preparing meals. The hotel's commitment to wellness and sustainability, as part of the Element brand, also serves as a strong selling point for environmentally conscious travelers.

Potential promotional offers could include discounted rates for extended stays, packages that combine accommodation with local attractions, or loyalty program benefits such as those experienced by the Titanium member. Given the positive feedback on room amenities and the fitness center, these features would be central to any marketing efforts. The complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi are also strong draws in a competitive market. While the shuttle service reliability has been an issue for one guest, the strong public transportation link via the PATH station remains a significant advantage for promoting accessibility. Any future promotions would likely leverage the hotel's strong "hardware" and spacious, well-appointed rooms as key selling points to attract guests looking for a high-quality, comfortable stay that feels more like an apartment than a traditional hotel room.

In summary, Element Harrison - Newark presents itself as a robust option for travelers searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Harrison/Newark area. Its combination of modern, spacious rooms with full kitchens, excellent fitness facilities, complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi, and unparalleled access to the PATH station makes it a highly appealing choice. While there have been minor service inconsistencies and shuttle issues, the overall guest experience, particularly concerning the quality of the physical hotel and its amenities, remains overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing its position as a comfortable and convenient extended-stay sanctuary.

* Check-In: Was a lot smoother than I'd thought it would be. The front desk associate was so sweet and broke everything down. We were given complimentary water bottles and apples. * Room: We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds. The room was very modern and spacious. The kitchen included a dishwasher, dishes, utensils, dish detergent, coffee maker, fridge, and freezer. The bathroom was amazing with a walk-in shower and huge counter with a vanity mirror. The TV had the option to sign into our YouTube, Netflix, Amazon (and more) accounts. The best part was once we check out, the TV will reset on its own and log out of all the accounts. It took a minute to know how to work the phone but we finally figured it out and was able to order room service. * Amenities: The fitness center was absolutely amazing and was luckily on the same floor we stayed on. We were also given free-Wifi as opposed to other hotels that charge us per night.

We stayed here prior to my son's graduation at Prudential center. The location was mere minutes away from the venue by car, the staff was amazing, the rooms were great (full sized fridge!), and the thoughtful amenities were a great touch too. When we arrived, the staff explained everything to us and also let us know about the complimentary drinks at the bar as well as what time evening tea would be provided. As we had to check out pretty early in the morning of graduation, we also inquired about early breakfast options. We were told that if we came down by 6:00, breakfast set up would be underway and we could grab stuff to go. At that hour, the options were very impressive and I can only imagine that had we stayed longer, we would have gotten to see the full spread where the warmers were. I would 100% stay here again, not just because we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and all that it offered, but it was within close walking distance to a couple nice restaurants for a quick bite to eat, and attached to a train station and parking garage for easy access. We felt completely at ease with getting around and look forward to our next day whenever that may be.

I have been coming to this hotel on and off for the last year. This is a good location to escape from Newark. Over time, I have gotten to know some of the staff who are awesome people and make the stay enjoyable. I want to give a shout out to Karla and Yuna at the from desk and Andres at the bar. Keep up the great work! Thank you for making my stays enjoyable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying here for an event at the nearby prudential center. It was a great experience throughout the entire stay. The room was clean, spacious and modern. The sweet front desk person extended an upgrade which I greatly appreciated. The hotel bar is cozy and the bartender Matt really hooked us up with a great experience. The food and drinks were a super good deal. Lastly, Jimmy the shuttle driver gave my group a lift to prudential center. The complementary shuttle was the perfect final touch on a great experience.
