We’ve rented this home 2 summers in a row. It’s comfortable, sleeps 11-14 people, two television seating areas, lovely pool and hot tub outside, ping pong table, beach gear & bikes. Fun for all ages. Outdoor shower is nice when coming home from the beach. Every floor has iPad controls. Location is great - nearby to two 4x4 beaches, and not far from regular beach access. Also not far from shopping centers and AC. Only negative I’ve noticed is the lights for pool and pool area do not work. A big plus is the elevator.
For local users exploring the "Hotels Near Of Me" platform, Wander Atlantic City presents a unique and compelling option, standing apart from traditional hotel offerings. Located at 2 Ocean Dr W, Brigantine, NJ 08203, USA, this property operates more as a luxury vacation home rental, aiming to combine the privacy and spaciousness of a private residence with the consistent quality and service typically found in high-end hotels. This approach makes it particularly appealing for large families, multiple couples, or groups seeking a comprehensive and comfortable retreat near the Atlantic City area.
The environment of Wander Atlantic City is clearly designed for comfort, luxury, and entertainment, both indoors and out. The property is described as a "contemporary marvel" with an "open floor plan, elevator, and floor-to-ceiling windows," creating a bright and expansive feel. Being a three-level home, it offers ample space and separation, which is ideal for larger groups. A significant highlight of its environment is the "breathtaking ocean views," the "Atlantic City skyline," and "Brigantine Bay" that can be enjoyed from various vantage points, including a "360-degree views from the rooftop deck." This commitment to scenic beauty truly elevates the experience.
Outdoors, the property boasts a "lovely pool and hot tub," providing excellent recreational opportunities. The presence of an "outdoor shower is nice when coming home from the beach," a practical feature for beach lovers. While one review noted that "the lights for pool and pool area do not work," implying a minor maintenance issue, the overall outdoor amenity package is impressive. The location itself is a major draw, being "nearby to two 4x4 beaches, and not far from regular beach access," making beach outings incredibly convenient. It's also strategically positioned "not far from shopping centers and AC," offering easy access to entertainment, dining, and retail therapy in Atlantic City.
Inside, the home is equipped to cater to various needs and preferences. It comfortably "sleeps 11-14 people," indicating generous sleeping arrangements across its 5 bedrooms, which typically include a mix of king, queen, and twin beds. There are "two television seating areas," ensuring that different groups can enjoy their preferred entertainment without contention. The inclusion of a "ping pong table" adds a fun, recreational element, and the provision of "beach gear & bikes" is a thoughtful touch that enhances the vacation experience, saving guests the hassle of bringing or renting these items. The mention of "Every floor has iPad controls" points to a sophisticated smart-home technology integration, allowing guests to manage various aspects of the property with ease. Other luxurious amenities include geothermal heating and radiant floors, further contributing to comfort. The kitchen is high-end, featuring two sinks, three ovens, a large refrigerator, a wine refrigerator, and an additional drawer refrigerator and freezer, making it ideal for self-catering and gourmet cooking.
The services offered by Wander Atlantic City extend beyond typical self-catering rentals, leaning into a "hotel-grade" experience. While not a traditional hotel with a front desk, the Wander platform emphasizes "24/7 concierge service." This dedicated support ensures that guests have assistance with any needs or issues that may arise during their stay, from troubleshooting minor problems to assisting with local recommendations or booking activities. This "hotelification of vacation rentals" approach aims to provide the best of both worlds: the privacy of a home with the reliability and support of professional hospitality. The check-in process is designed to be streamlined, likely through smart locks, and the property adheres to strict hotel-grade cleaning protocols, ensuring a pristine environment for each new arrival.

Luxury Amenities: Private heated pool, hot tub, multiple entertainment areas, high-end kitchen, ping pong table, beach gear, and bikes.
Exceptional Location: Proximity to 4x4 and regular beaches, as well as easy access to Atlantic City's casinos, nightlife, shopping centers, and golf courses (like Brigantine Golf Links).

Smart Home Technology: iPad controls on every floor enhance convenience and a modern feel.
Hotel-Grade Service & Cleaning: The promise of hotel-standard cleanliness and 24/7 concierge support provides peace of mind that is often missing from traditional vacation rentals.
Breathtaking Views: Ocean, Atlantic City skyline, and Brigantine Bay views from various parts of the house, including a rooftop deck.
The review provided reinforces these promotional aspects, with guests explicitly mentioning their positive experiences with the comfort, capacity, and amenities. The recurring rental by the same guests ("rented this home 2 summers in a row") speaks volumes about guest satisfaction and loyalty. While the issue with the pool lights is a minor detail, it’s a good example of how even high-end properties can have small operational quirks that guests might note.
