Get directionsRoom clean comfortable modern lighted , we had a great rest in their very comfortable beds. Coffee and water complimentary in room. Housekeeping every 2 days. But was not informed by front desk. Shuttle service was requested to pick us up at 11pm at the airport. They didn’t pick us up. After waiting for an hour they told us the driver didn’t find us and went back. That we have to wait another hour. We had to take an uber, we didn’t want to wait anymore. Front desk team is terrible. Not helpful and rude. Also initially booking included breakfast. Later they say it was not anymore.
Apr 05, 2025 · Miriam CI stayed at the Wyndham Garden due to unexpected airline issues, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff gave off a cold, unwelcoming vibe—as if I was an inconvenience rather than a guest. There was no greeting, no explanation of amenities, just a room key and a curt 'you need to be out by 11 a.m.' It felt more like being rushed out than checked in. Thankfully, the cleaning staff were the saving grace—friendly and helpful. I had to rely on them to find out there was a microwave available, and they kindly showed me where it was. It was also through chance that I discovered there was an ice machine, a vending machine on my floor, and coffee available in the lobby in the morning. None of this was communicated at check-in. Overall, customer service at the front desk was disappointing, but I appreciated the kindness and assistance from the housekeeping team
Apr 14, 2025 · Shemar MckoyI had to stay here because my flight got canceled, leaving me stranded for 3 days. The staff was alright, when I asked a question, they would just give me the answer and nothing more, which is typical New Jersey/New York manner. Rooms were not the absolute cleanest but it did the job. However, when I was reserving to take the shuttle to the airport I reserved it for a few different times, but ended up with 2:00. The driver, did not like that decision and asked me to reconsider because they take a break from 2-4 . To me and to other people I asked, this means last ride is at 2:00 and first ride is 4:00. He did not want his break to interfere with my transportation. If they want a full two hour break, they should say last ride is at 1:00 so by the time they drive, drop you off, and get back, then it’s around 2:00. Anyways, time comes, and I compromised with him and said 1:30. So we leave at 1:30 and as soon as he started driving I knew he had an attitude about everything. He switching the radio station to some stupid, loud Shaggy music but then quickly changed to his head phones and was on his phone while driving changing music. He would accelerate quickly, zoom in and out of cars and he was speeding like crazy(pictured), to the point I didn’t not feel safe, going 70-80 mph in a 55 while having EarPods in and driving the hotel shuttle! You can see his exact speed on the Google Maps app. What should have taken me 30 minutes to get to the airport took around 15. Notice the times I screenshotted my maps, and the ETA time changing. When confronting him, nicely, after the ride, that I was did not feel comfortable with the way he was speeding, he said “okay ma’am you can go” and after I said I’ll be writing a review and speaking to his manager, he replied back with “I’m just doing my job.” His job is not to be going 20 over just so he can have his break. His job is to drive safely in a hotel vehicle with a hotel guest.
Mar 23, 2025 · Laura BlaggI found this diamond in the rough because I couldn’t afford to stay in Manhattan. I am so thankful that I did! Service was very friendly. A very convenient location to both New York and New Jersey destinations. Convenient parking right underneath the building and next to the front door! And last but not least the unbelievable price! It’s worth every penny to stay here and from now on whenever I need to go into Manhattan this is the only place I will stay and I will commute in.
Mar 07, 2025 · Suzanne MccormickThey lied about the deposit and didn’t care what so ever that they took the last of our money to pay for the room. The only reason we had to stay there was due to my flight being canceled because of the snow storm. We had just enough money for a nights stay and we had to take the bus to get there. We were tired and worn out and ready to go to bed. After the bus we had a mile walk to the hotel just to be told that we have to pay $200 deposit for a one night stay that was less than $100 for the night. And we weren’t even staying there but for 8 hours tops because we had to make it to our flight. We had no more money to stay anywhere else. We paid for the room and they didn’t care. It was like 2am and they turned us away. We weren’t the only ones who came to check in and they were basically robbed just like we were. We ended up having to catch the last bus of the night and sleep at the airport. Don’t stay here. They are crooks and wouldn’t even let us charge our phones in the lobby. They have terrible ratings and don’t care about their guests at all. Just money. And we are still trying to get a refund well after a month later. It’s not worth it. It was our first time going to NYC and it was for our 10 year anniversary and they legit put a bad taste in our mouth for Wyndham . We usually stay with them when we travel but never again!
