My partner and I had a four night stay at this hotel and we have absolutely no complaints. We stayed in the Standard Queen room which had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, an A/C, a shower which they provide shampoo and conditioner as well as lotion and a bar of soap. Our room also came with a mini fridge which they put mints, cups, and some helpful information on top of and a tv. They give you the option of having your room freshened up but my partner and I didn't choose that. The hotel itself looked like it had been recently refurnished and improved. They have a pool open from 9am to 9pm which was well taken care of and they have a pool guy who cleans it pretty much daily as far as we could tell. Along with the pool, they have lots of seating and even a spot you can burn wood and sit outside. We saw a grill but we didn't use it. Inside the Main Office they have a small kitchen that has every type of tea and coffee you could think of, plates, cups, silverware, and a microwave that is available to every guest. Each morning they provide a great assortment of breakfast options, muffins, yogurt and granola, cereal, oatmeal, oranges, orange juice and more. The staff were all very friendly and the view from the hotel is very nice. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again! Five out of Five stars!

Jun 05, 2024 · Natalie RowlandWe stayed for 2 nights and all in all, this was a fine hotel. Nothing really out of place or dirty, rooms were clean but small (wicked small, but it got the job done🤷🏻♀️), beds were comfy. We didn’t have high expectations so it was fairly nice compared to what we were imagining. The bathroom is pretty tiny. The sink isn’t much and neither is the shower, I did give the shower and extra wipe down with a Clorox wipe just to be sure but it was pretty clean. It came with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a few amenities like makeup wipes and lotion. It came with a good amount of towels and they were pretty good quality. The second night we had our room cleaned (which was very good) but they forgot the towels, no biggie, we asked for towels and it seemed like a hassle to the front desk associate. Like she didn’t believe us, wasn’t a great experience but that’s fine. If you saw the hotel’s free shuttle to bar harbor and made it the main reason you booked it like I did, don’t they don’t have one anymore🫠 we asked an associate and they said “The one on the website? We don’t have it anymore.” I was pretty bummed since it was selling point for us. It was also taken off the website that night…:( The pool looked really nice and clean but it was a bit rainy and chilly so we didn’t take advantage of it. Some other folks did and they looked like they had a great time. Sitting outside was the best! The view (when it wasn’t foggy) was spectacular! It’s really close to Acadia National Park and about 10 minutes to bar harbor. It had some basic breakfast treats like hot coffee, cereal, muffins, and some other things. Nothing too crazy. And it was pretty safe! Lots of other families were there and we never felt like we had to be on our toes. TLDR; it’s a fine and safe place to stay just don’t expect anything spectacular.
Aug 21, 2024 · Abby ThorngPlease Ignore all the Bad Reviews, this place should be 4.9 -5.0 stars. It's beautiful the staff is amazing and the Free Car Service to Bar Harbor Town is the Best!! It's a 15 minute ride if that to town and the driver is so nice and helpful with ideas to have a great time!! We will be back, but in the meantime please enjoy a few pictures from Our Room.
Jul 13, 2024 · R CDThe rooms do not have microwaves as they advertise, no refrigerator just a cooler that hardly works, no tables, and it's very trashy. The door to the bathroom is broken, the shower rod is broken, the bath tub has cracks in it, the shower head is broken, for the price it is very bad. This is what you'd expect for half this price. Only nice thing I have to say is the view is nice.
Sep 14, 2024 · Derpy ThingWe had the best experience here. We left some decor out for my moms 60th birthday and our housekeeper Patrick left us some more thoughtful additions like towel swans and bubbles and chocolate. Love the updated look and the cleanliness of the pool & hotel. Convenient location near some great lobster shacks and Acadia Coffee House. Note that the wifi doesn’t really work well, but service generally isn’t good in the area. Good opportunity to just enjoy vacation.
